                 He wasn't personally offended by it, and actually found it pretty funny to see Mark behave that way, with the added intrigue of only seeing half of the other’s face. Kendrick takes a fry from his plate and starts munching on it. “Hey, you’re acting like this is official, but I thought taking you out was just a casual way for us to get to know each other, wasn't that the plan?“ he asks with a smile.

                 He flashes Mark a tiny smile, amused that the hero agreed to come with him despite his obvious suspicion. “You have to be prepared for what might come next, so why would it be weird? I think I’m doing an okay job right now,” the man chuckles.

                 Kendrick was taken aback by the unexpected offer of help, having anticipated a more aggressive response from Nolan. Instead, he received assistance, which he gratefully accepted, wincing in pain as he nodded his head. "Thanks... this isn't really my thing, but it'll have to do," he said, his voice shaking slightly due to his discomfort with flying.

            A flutter ran through his chest at the compliments. Yeah sure he's cocky but it still makes him giggle and twirl his hair on the inside. "You're literally gonna make me blush bro. Uh but yeah, I'm- I kind of front the band but I'm mostly guitar but I also do backup vocals. Occasionally I do also help write. Y'know because our manager, a big piece of work, lil greedy. We started off as like a more alternative band but we're more, I guess, modern metalcore than anything. Like older Bring Me The Horizon. Am I still talking? Sorry man-"

However, his attention was caught when Roger mentioned he was in a band, making Kendrick more interested in him. “Wow, really? That’s awesome! I enjoy rock music more than anything, and I knew you had some sort of talent. You have that look…” he says with an excited smile. “I bet your skills are pretty impressive… what instrument do you play? You now have my full attention—“

            At that, Roger laughed, shaking his head. "Guess it wasn't a phase, mom. But much appreciated! Yeah I'm in a band, it's not huge but it's somethin'." He fought back making a dirty joke y'know. "We try to be more metalcore but y'know, shit happens. Sorry, infodumping. It's my party trick."
