(  this  individual  was  being  mildly  observant. her  finger  began  to  trace  around  the  rim  of  her  glass. it  was  the  only  other  way  to  avoid  eye  contact  with  this  person. )    no,  i  wasn’t  born  in  the  states. i’m  italian. any  other  questions  ?

[  she brought her glass to her lips while she leaned back, taking another sip of her wine before she set it down on the table next to her seat.  ]    your accent isn’t from here either, which means you have parents who never let go of it and that’s why you have it or you weren’t born in the states. am i close?

@fangsbled ⠀⠀ [  as an arrogant being herself, she had no business finding his arrogance irritating, but she found herself annoyed anyway. she took in the way his actions looked so delicate, an eyebrow raising for the briefest of moments before a quiet sigh escaped her lips.  ]    bloody mary’s are the most popular, as the name has quite the double meaning here. there’s more, of course, just none that i can name off the top of my head.    [  she could if she really wanted to and thought hard enough about it, but it was not often that she tended her own bar and therefore did not remember all of the names.  ]    susana works the bar most nights, she’s the person to ask about these things.
