@taygetacaulfield No no it's okay I'm just shocked haha. I see the foreshadowing, I just wouldn't have thought that. It's also sudden to me as it is to Liana, it feels like a major shock to us all. Still, I'm really looking forward to what happens next.
Thank you (I think?? Haha). It’s one I’ve had plotted from the very beginning of the story. I thought I foreshadowed it well, but maybe not. Either way I also wanted it to feel sudden because that’s how it felt to liana. I’m devastated. I feel all the pain of the readers too, but it becomes a big part of the story and liana’s character moving forward
Just wanted to say how amazing your writing is, I took a break from wattpad for a really long time because I rarely find any good fics here anymore, and now finding your account is like heaven. I forgot just how good slow burn is and it’s even better paired with your incredible writing. Let me tell you I started Liana’s Dream last night and today I woke up EXCITED to continue reading it. I’ve had trouble actually enjoying reading like I used to years ago, so thank you for helping me find something I’ve lost <3
@taygetacaulfield Lowkey he was just infatuated with her because he didnt know her that well. I mean cmon most of the time they were apart and they were married for like what? 3 days? It’s like he was in love with the concept of her that he made up in his head. And yes, about giving her another chance after betraying his family, it seemed so uncharacteristic of him. I really loved May too and it was funny seeing Grace get so defensive to the point she just had to boast that Thomas named a horse after her. And let’s be real — he only married her because she had his baby. I really think he would’ve actually tried with May. I also felt like May’s exit from the show was so abrupt and Thomas really just flipped the page without even looking back. And a teensy little love-at-first-sight two month relationship with a spy, a betrayer, who easily found herself another rich man, really haunted him for the rest of the series?? And thanks, Jonathan is my little princess ^^
@cillickmybootyhole omg I totally agree.. I just don’t think he would have been in love with her?? And it’s dumb bc the concept of an undercover cop is like a fanfic writer’s dreaaaam but it just wasn’t right. He never would have given her another chance after betraying his family, and she never faces any consequences for her actions or has to take accountability. I loved may, I wish they were together, but she was also a queeen for deciding the damage and the life wasn’t for her and walking away, instead of getting involved then complaining and wanting her husband to change like so many other women on the show lmao. @taygetacaulfield Messages of appreciation should be more generalized imo, and in this case I just couldn’t hold myself back ahah. The amount of thought you put into Tommy’s character can clearly be seen, I love it. And I totally get it for Grace, there is absolutely NOTHING likeable about her (and as I’m rewatching the series — yes because of your fic — I just can’t see any real chemistry between her and Tommy?? There was muchh more passion with the Russian dutchess, even). As for the continuation of the story, I fully believe it should depend on what you feel fits for the story. Making a plot is already difficult enough and if you don’t feel like sustaining a whole new plot line for six seasons worth, I completely understand!Whatever choice, I’m sure it’ll turn out great anyways.
