@roseanloseana I am truly so sorry, as of right now, I'm in a major writing slump to the point that I had to put my Robb fanfic into a hiatus until further notice. I am trying to focus on my college admissions right now, and the classes I have to choose for my degree. I hope you understand my dilemma.

Controversial opinion on BookTok from someone who’s been on that side for the past two months:
BookTok is so boring. They’re always promoting the same books over and over again. In the months I’ve watched them, they’re always promoting We Were Liars, They Die At the End, ACOTAR, Throne of Glass, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, The Song of Achilles, Circe, etc.
Where’s the other stories???
There’s MILLIONS of books that have been printed for the past couple thousand years, and they all chose to promote the same stories, over and over, and get all defensive when you state an opinion that’s different than theirs. PLEASE I just want book recs that are NOT the same ten books they’ve been recommending for MONTHS.
And they’re always trying to switch it up like:
“BookTok Books that made me cry.”
“BookTok books that made me laugh.”
“BookTok books I really liked.”
And they’re all just the same books, over and over again. I’m so sick and tired of BookTok, which is so frustrating cause I really do like reading stories, but I just can’t take the fact that all of these people keep putting out the same book recs without giving book recs that are actually unique.
