RAFE CAMERON MESSAGE 
          
          this is an important topic to bring up as Outer Banks season 3 comes out and people start to write Rafe Cameron stories. 
          
          Rafe Cameron is a dynamic character with MENTAL ILLNESS. I don’t know what the writers are going to do for him this season but PLEASE write cautiously with his character. 
          
          DREW STARKY is NOT RAFE CAMERON. His performance has always amazed me. 
          
          DO NOT romanticize toxic, damaging, and psychotic behaviors within men. REWRITE his character and give him the depth the show might not. If not for yourself than for the young people on this app for fantasize about men like him. 
          
          We as writers are given this responsibility and power to control a narrative we want to see.
