That’s true! I’ll try to remember that, thank you (: it is fantasy yes! I’m leaning more into the action-adventure / mystery side of it but there’s also going to be romance! It’s largely inspired by all my experiences playing D&D growing up so all the D&D I know mixed with all the good stuff my brain can come up with for plot & worldbuilding / lore. 
            
            85k is still hella work tho, I’m so happy for you. It takes dedication to write anything. Just remember that you might not like your own work later down the line but someone else always will!! I’m sure it’s wonderful ((: if you ever get something published lmk lol I’ll buy. And I’m thinking about it! The book I’m working on right now I would love to get published tbh, I have always wanted to get my writing out there. 

@theycallmedoc two months is still pretty quick to do the planning and have written one whole chapter, you should be proud of yourself! is it a high fantasy or something a bit more casual?
            
            i began writing sometime in november of last year, that's the time of the year when i try to start new projects bc of nanowrimo :) started writing my first original in nov 2022 and finished the first draft around july 2023 but that's only because it only has a wc of about 85k. dunno about publishing – i'm at the point where in a month i'll be cringing at what i've written today, but maybe someday. how about you? 

Awe thank you, I’ve been working on this one idea for almost 2 months now I think? I took a lot of time to do character planning and some necessary worldbuilding! You are right about that first chapter lol when you want it to be just right. How about you, how long have you been working on your project? (: it’s awesome you’ve made such progress! Is it something you’d want to get published someday?
