Thought I would give a small update since it's been a minute.
I haven't had the chance to write much, if at all since I started working two jobs. I considered writing a new story to refresh myself, but it hasn't done anything for me since I can't get past roughly five hundred words. I have considered reading, but fanfic wise I've found nothing, and the same with the new season of anime. Assuming I have time to watch any.
I'll try to get something out before the end of the month but it might not be Slime or RWBY related. I've been thinking about different isekai stories though, a few fantasy ideas, and Guilty Crown since I remember someone mentioning it a long time back.

Wanting to get chapter 41 done so I can get to 42: Double Check
I wanted to make a new cover for a different story, so I made a summary for it, then I thought it would be fun to tease the idea and made a profile too. I might start work on the first chapter in a few days when I have more time.
It's been a while since I posted so I decided to let a few thoughts out:
1. I'm tired of the Tensura story. Not the show or its world but the fanfic. I want to finish but another part of me wants to put it on hold and write a new story. And indulge in a real power fantasy with some story.
2. Wattpad has been becoming an afterthought in my mind recently and as a result I'm not sure what to do. If my writing comes off as stunted or lackluster it's because I don't feel myself putting in as much effort or passion as I once did.
3. No recent animes are doing it for me. It doesn't help matters that the ones I would enjoy are from manga that the anime version usually makes worse in one form or another. So there isn't a lot in the way of newer fanfics for me to be interested in.
4. I might read some different stories and actual books to see if anything clicks. I know there are a few stories I said I would read so I'll start with one of them.
Anyway, I paused work on the next chapter, it's already over 2,000 words but I want it to be longer,l so I'll get back to it on a later date. Take care until then.
@zairrik oh, you changed your name? cool. also i think everyone is tired of wattpad at this point, most of the good authors that ive been following are either taking a break or have quit. and i get why recent stuff just doesnt do it for you, im kinda the same. nothing can really hook me in and keep me thinking about it for too long, let alone enough for me to want to write about it. either way, take as much of a break from writing as you need, we'll all be here when you return. take care, friend
@zairrik To be fair, there's 48 parts just to the main story. It's understandable that you'd have burnout from that many consecutive chapters. Maybe just take a break from Wattpad for a bit and see how you feel, I doubt anyone here wants to force you to write. Hope you find something interesting to keep your interest anime-wise.
More prince of rags when?
I'm going to guess most don't read these but I'll be removing the pictures in the Tensura story because of the bug so don't be surprised when they're gone.
@Zairrif Could try to use a screenshot software rather than using wattpad directly (for the images), so they would just click on a lightshot link or another software to see the image you're wanting them to see.
I stand corrected. And I'm not sure, I don't have some of the images on account of accidently saving over the older ones (before Ch. 17) with the newer ones. Also I don't know how long it will take to be fixed, probably sooner rather than later since it's effecting everyone and not just fanfics.
So Wattpad made a literal ops and you may find that images have been replaced with a light grey picture with 'Wattpad'. Apparently this is a bug that they are working to resolve and has nothing to do with image moderation. Which is why you may find other images not affected.
