Band fandoms confuse me. I was a Limelight (Why Don't We) for about six months before removing myself from the fandom as it made me seriouly uncomftable. Same with BTS. I like their music but I would never, ever be a part of the fandom. If find the amounts of toxic energy wierd - in both. It's mostly twelve year olds. How can twelve year olds be toxic?! Even in the Harry Potter fandom. There's huge amount of toxic energy (no thanks to JKR) and I (as a trans person who writes a few contriversial ship) feel unsafe. I was attacked by someone because I made a coment about how the way they were acting about other's opinions was inapropriate. That comment has 856 likes (as of seeing my year on tik tok).I'm in a fandom for a show called Cardinal and there's none of this shit. We're all there to have a good time hateing on Josh (who fully deserves everything he gets in the show and in the fandom) with no tea. Like how come other fandoms aren't like this?

Would any of you read a Cardinal fic if I wrote one? Becasue I have this idea for a highschool AU where John is the popular "rich kid" and Lise is the transfer student that just arrived. I'm probs going to write it anyway but I would like to know how interested you guys would be.
