   "Geia, o Patéras kai i Mitèra!" Hi, father and mother!
 
   We are now inside our meeting room. Hours after we arrived from the airport, pinatawag kami nina bampá at mamà, in which I think, concerns our mission.

   We took a seat when mamà told us to.

"Pós píge i apostolí sas?" How did your mission went?

   "Píge kalá, bampá." It went well, papa. Ate Pryce were the one to reply.

"May ginawa ba kayong hindi namin magugustuhan ng papa ninyo?"

  "Mitéra, den kàname tipota kakó."

"We did nothing bad, mamá."

"Nothing"
  We three said in chorus. And I got alarmed when Mjio didn't said a thing.

  Oh, right...

"Rae Mjionegtte..."

   Nakatingin kaming lahat sa kaniya. She can't say a word. Of course, kasi totoong may ginawa siya. And she knows she really can't lie to mamà and bampá sakaling maisip niyang magsinungaling. We know her too well.

   "Po?"

"Well? Haven't you got something to say?"

"No—nothing"

   We were just staring at her. Kami nina ate Pryce, we were just sensing the situation.

  And I think, kahit ngayon lang, it would be better kung itago muna ni Mjio sa kanila mama at papa ang totoo. Our parents would freak out. Mjio would be in danger.

Then bampá sighed. So, I guess he believed her.

  "Eíste óloi megáloi tóra, xérete ti kánete. Periméno na eíste ypéfthynoi gia tis enérgeiés sas, katalavaínete?" You are all grown ups now, you know what you are doing. I expect you to be responsible for your actions, understand?

"Nai"

Mamà stood up and walked towards us.

   "Mga anak, alam niyo namang sobra namin kayong mahal, hindi ba? Ayaw lang namin kayong masaktan, ayaw naming masira ang mga plano niyo para sa sarili niyo. Hindi ba, ayaw namin na gawin ninyo ito? Hanggang ngayon, tutol parin kami pero sabi ninyo, gagawin niyo ito para kay Kai, sa kapatid ninyo. Nagtitiwala kami sa inyo, okay?" I can see her love and care for us through her shining eyes.

   I really adore my mamà...so much. She loved this family so much. She sacrificed what she had in the Philippines to be with bampá here. Their relationship went through a lot.

  At sa lahat ng istoryang alam ko, isa silang dalawa sa mga couple whom had there first kiss together at the church, in front of their witnesses, in front of the priest, and in front of God.
  Mamà may not be bampá's first, but as a couple, they've had their first kiss sa church.

  Isn't it wonderful? In their 3 years of on and off relationship, sila parin pala. And bampá coming from a different culture, kahit may mga indifferences sila, still, they are a living proof of the saying, 'opposite's do attract'.

  Everytime I think about their story, naiinggit ako. Of how bampá never took advantage of mamà and how he waited. That was 3 years. In 3 years, for sure may mga scenes silang parang gusto na ni bampá na ikiss si mamà, and bampá confirmed that. But he restrained himself and controlled himself. Kasi hindi ang lips ni mamà ang habol niya, sabi niya. Not the body, but her heart, her love, her care, her emotional, spiritual attributes. Those physical things are just part of the package. A package he said he's willing to wait 'til the day it arrives and is ready for him to experience.
