"Gorgeous" a girl yelled at the stunning brown, curly haired girl strutting through the school. "Serenity Baker you look stunning like always" Layla steps in line with her best friend. Serenity smiles with pride. Serenity was living the life, has the most beautiful best friend in the world, perfect family, perfect reputation.

"You don't look bad yourself layla Keating" serenity smirks, opening her locker. Her long acrylic neon pink nails tapping against the metal, "why thank you"

"So serenity, still don't have a boyfriend yet?" Layla teased the girl, "a girl don't need a boyfriend to be happy" serenity shrugs, "besides, I have everything already that makes my world complete" serenity reminds the girl.

"I've told you that so many times Layla, you can stop trying to make me get with guys" serenity tells her as she walks into her classroom, Olivia sitting by herself in the back,

"Hey liv" serenity sighs, "hey sis" liv looked up from her phone, "anything that I should know about" serenity plopped next to her twin, "nothing really, there is a new kid" liv states

"Class start reading" the teacher smiles and starts walking around, "it's ok if you don't have a computer, just pair up with a classmate," the teacher tells Spencer, "ok, thank you" he smiled back and looked next to him, the kid turning his computer away

"Hey tod, keep watching that Logan Paul feed" Olivia smirks, "shut up Olivia" he shakes his head, "you can share with me" Olivia looks towards Spencer

"Ok I guess I'm chop liver" serenity glares at her sister, "your fine" Olivia goes back to Spencer

"Well y'all guess what" serenity sits next to JJ on the steps that the group always at on, "what may that be?" Layla looked towards serenity, "theres a new bae here at Beverly" serenity smirks, "serenity you have basically hooked up with everyone in the school, have you even had a committed relationship?" asher asks, taking a sip of water

"What's the point in a committed relationship when I know I'm going to get hurt in the end?" serenity shrugs, "I'm surprised you two have lasted as long as you have" serenity points between asher and Layla, "should I be offended?"

Jordan walks up, a boy next to him, "meet the crew" he smiles, "this is Hadley, Layla, and up top you have Lucy, JJ, and asher." Jordan looks towards serenity,"and the queen herself, miss serenity Baker"

"That is me, nice to meet you" serenity shakes the new kids hand, Jordan sitting down next to Hadley, "I think you and asher play the same position" Jordan spoke up

"Oh receiver huh?" Spencer ploped his bag down, "ya broke the school record for receptions last season" asher flexed, serenity rolling her eyes, "asher stop flexing your abilities"

"Me too" Spencer flashed back, "really?" serenity spoke, "didn't he just say that serenity?" Jordan looked at his sister, "just confirming" she put her hands up in defense, "so how you liking Beverly so far?" Layla spoke up

"Finally real conversation" JJ spoke up, "shut the hell up JJ Parker" serenity glared at him, "it's ok I guess" Spencer smiled at Layla, making her blush. Asher staring him down, "hey ash, you ok?" serenity whispered, "I'm fine" he pushes her off, "Jesus Christ" she huffed

"I know it probably feels like lost footage of rich kids from Instagram but it's not so bad once you give it a chance" Layla calmed him down, "I want food" serenity spoke, "no one fucking cares" Jordan looked towards her, "shut the hell up tall boy" serenity knew her brother hated that nickname

"I hate that so much stop" Jordan groaned, "everyday siblings fights, nothing new" Layla rolled her eyes, "so lay it on me, Crips or bloods?" asher asked, everyone froze, "my extensions could have just ripped off themselves" serenitys eyes wide and staring at asher, "excuse me?" Spencer asked

"Dying to check out a crip walk for real" Jordan stared at his best friend, "I've only seen one on YouTube" asher shurgged, "Ayo he's just joking man, ignore him" Jordan shook his hand, trying to move on from ashers rude comments

"Asher you wouldn't know a crip walk if it bit you in the damn white ass" JJ finishes his food, trying to lighten up the tension, "I hate life" serenity groans, "nah it didn't sound like a joke to me bro" Spencer spoke up, serenity looking towards him

"Oh, drama" she smirked, asher staring at Spencer, "don't be so sensitive" asher put his hands up in defense,"sensitive?" Spencer stood up, "how are you enjoying this serenity?" Jordan asked,"who doesn't love two teenage boys fighting?" serenity shrugs,"because asher made a disgusting and rude comment" Jordan glared,"I'm not talking about that bitch" serenity picks at the fry JJ gave her

Everyone looks at Spencer, "thanks for the welcome" he picks up his bag, leaving the group speechless, "asher" Layla spoke harshly, packing up her food, "what?" he said in defense, "I was making conversation" he ashered her, "no you were being an ass" she walked away, her loud ass heals clicking against the ground, "so, Fry's?" JJ asked

"Serenity are you ok?" asher asked her, noticing her right away, "no, I'm leaving" she sighs, stepping down a step, walking away from the group, "I'm leaving, see you at football practice boys" asher nodded and sped walked after serenity, asher was for sure serenitys best friend. Even on top of Layla and that was saying something

The girl walked the halls of the school, trying to keep a smile on her face. He heard the breaths of her best friend, "what do you want ash?" she asked, "whats wrong, I know when somethings off" he followed into step next to her, "asher go to practice, nothings wrong with me" she lied, "seren-"

"Asher go" she turned away from him, it was rare for her to keep something from him. She only hid one thing from him. That being her being heartbroken for the first time. It was bad.

Asher trudged to the locker room. Wanting to know, "where did you go ash?" JJ asked, curiosity striking him, "shut up JJ, it's not of your business" Asher snapped back, sitting on the bench with a thud

"Ashers in a mooood" Jordan dragged the O, "at least I care about your sister Jordan" Asher snapped, holding his helmet, "see y'all on the field" he huffed and walked out, "oh, Jordan" JJ chuckled, "JJ, Shut your mouth" he smacked the fake blonde, "I'm going to act like that don't hurt a bit" he sighed, rubbing the back of his head

"GIRLS" Layla yelled, every girl surrounded Layla, "where's serenity?" Layla crossed her arms, "here" she ran, "serenity Baker where is your uniform?" Layla asked, "I'm skipping practice" she grinned and headed for the bleachers, "ugh I hate her sometimes" Layla rolled her eyes, " 5,6,7,8"
