Chapter 1

This book is based off Jurassic World, very different from my other ffs but yk me! I'm from multiple fandoms, now, enough about me and enjoy the rest of this chapter!

A bird flew right at y/n who was just standing there on her phone, she flinched and glared at the creature

"Freaking birds!" She shouted in frustration, Karen started to laugh at the girl's silliness, shaking her head which made her think of her boys

"BOYS! LETS DO THIS!" She shouted, staring at the house, she made eye contact with y/n and shook her head, going upstairs to find Gray looking at dinosaurs from his viewmaster toy

"Gray?" She enters the room, "honey, what are you doing? What is this here?" She questioned, taking the device from him

"Let's go, come on honey, your flight is in two hours" "Dane county airport is thirty-six minutes away, sixty with traffic" he said

"How many minutes to get your little butt in the van?" She teases, wrapping her arm around him and bringing him downstairs with the suitcase in hand

"Feed the monster under the bed?" Karen questioned, "yes" he answered and rushed off to the car, not paying attention to his brother and his brother's girlfriend

"Call me everyday and text me pics so I don't forget what you look like" she flirted, Y/n watched in disgust and muttered under her breath

"If she is to forget why even date her?" Karen who just came out the house laughed at what the girl just said as they both entered the car

"I'll only be gone a week" he reassured as his father watched from the car, amused, Zach stared into her eyes, dull, no emotions showing for her

"I-" "I love you" she cuts him, he shook his head, "I'll see you later" he announced and walked off to the car as the girl smiled, wondering why he could never say those three simple words

His parents turned around to see y/n and him arguing about something but instantly stopped feeling the stares of his parents

"I know it hurts sweetheart" his mother sympathised, "are you gonna be okay?" His father teased making Y/n snort, Zach glared at the girl elbowing her, she elbowed his back and tucked her tongue out at him

He made a face at her and put on his headphones as the car drove off to Dane County airport

Zach, Gray and y/n stood infront of the gate at the airport as the Mitchells looked at their sons and y/n

"Everything right in there?" Gray nodded answering Karen's question, "I'm so jealous, you're gonna have so much fun" she faked a smile

"I love you""I love you too" He hugs her for quite bit, the boy glanced at his father who manages to smile at him

"Okay right!" They stopped hugging, "all right, um...let's give these to your brother, okay?" She turns to look at Zach

He stood closely next to y/n who had her hands in her pocket and her hood up, "can you hold these please?" She handed her son the tickets

"Zach!" His father called grabbing his attention, "can you hold these? Honey I need you to take care of these" "yeah" he took the tickets from her

"Hey" Scott called, "all right" Karen started "Listen to your mother" he told the teenager while Zach nodded absently

"And remember....when something chases you" she pauses "run!" Y/n jumped from the scare, holding onto Zach's sweater, Gray smiles

"Come on" Karen said, giving y/n an apologetic look, "yeah, you're funny" Zach said half-heartedly, "come on, let's go" he told Gray

Y/n kept on staying by Zach's side not wanting to let go of him but he didn't mind it and let it be, Gray smirked at the girl knowing exactly what was going on in her mind

"Bye guys!" Karen said, "bye" Zach simply answered, texting his girlfriend, "See ya in a few days" Yep, he YET AGAIN simply replied

"So much for our last family breakfast" "why do you have to say things like that!" Karen scolded

"Did you call your sister?" he changed the topic "straight to voicemail" she answered, "they'll be fine, she handles twenty-thousand people a day, she can handle three more"

Little did they know that this trip might change their lives....
