Turns out the person was Peter, who was walking into the common room. "Where were you all day Wormtail?" Remus asked curiously, as the boy normally never left their side. "I fell asleep as a rat, and then an elf tried to sweep me out of the dorm! (The rat should have died) I've been trying to find my way back" (He should've gotten lost).
Random sentence from author: Ok, ok, I'm sorry for interrupting, but I just can't help being mad at the rat, and I will express it in later chapters as well lol. Great, back to the chapter-
Remus frowned sympathetically and James was trying his best not to burst out in laughter as Peter sat next to him. "So what's new- actually, forget I asked." Sirius was now looking at Remus, eyes narrowed.
"Wait, how did you know that Adelecia was captain? I thought she only spoke to Prongs?" Remus choked on his chocolate. "Erm-She told me?" "When?" Sirius demanded. "We've been talking over the summer. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about you and Marlene." Sirius went a bright red as the rest of the Marauders howled with laughter.
