Life in the Assassin's Guild isn't easy. You have no home to call your own, no reliable source of food or drink, and people are beginning to pay less and less to have people killed. Worst of all, you've spent most of your life on the run—from the authorities, from your enemies, from bounty hunters, and most importantly, from yourself. "No loose ends" is the unspoken motto of the guild: never stay in one spot, never leave any trace of your existence, and never, ever become too attached to anyone–because you'd never know whose name is on whose lips.
You followed this motto like a religion, and for good reason: you're one of the best assassins the guild has to offer. Slumming through the back alleys and sewage pipes of cities, prowling dark underbellies and shady bars, making enemies with some of the nastiest criminals in the galaxy: it's all in a day's work for someone like you.
The contract on the Mandalorian gunslinger was supposed to be no different. It was supposed to be just another contract, another kill under the belt, another shiny trophy, another fistful of credits.
