NOELL JANE LANGDON has always been the one to follow the crowd. She's your average 16 year old high-school student living a little outside of Portland, Oregon and you could say her life is basic; maybe even boring. With a fear of speaking for herself and being looked down upon, it was easy for Noell to fall into the 'popular' kid's trap from a early age. From the outside, you may think she's the black sheep in her rather-large group of friends. Friends that she internally wants to despise, but can't bring herself to do so. Langdon definitely seems unspoken and rather quiet compared to her obnoxious peers. Even though her mind is overfilled with millions of thoughts that she would never say out loud per day. Sometimes she even begins to think, Why in the hell would someone be friends with people like this? However, Noell would rather stick with being treated like garbage than move into a whole other different environment; she's afraid of change.
Being the offspring of a broken and failed marriage, Noell has never enjoyed the idea of love, nor going through it. She's a witness to her Father being left behind and torn apart by her absent Mother. Obviously, she was given the wrong ideal of the amazing feeling of love, but her stubborn self has never been the one to wrap her head around it. Boyfriends, or even girlfriends, never came to the young girl's mind. Until High School came around and her long-time friend and her became something she hated. A Couple.
