Everyone gathered around the poker table, Asher sat at one end while JJ sat at another, the two best friends glared at each other. Serenity sat across from Layla. "Let's get this game started" JJ smirked
A couple minutes pasted and serenity got the unexpected. Layla smirked, holding up a dare chip, "you ready for your dare?" Serenity eyes widened, "I'll take that as a yes" Layla set it down, You could see the protectiveness in JJs and Ashers eyes all of a sudden
"Jesus serenity, didn't know you have body guards now" Layla scoffed, "anyways, your dare is...." she started, "to take a whole packet of weed" serenity's eyes widened, she sat there in shock, Asher stood up, "Layla, out" he pointed,
"Why would I leave? You don't own this house" she stared at him, "your just staying in the guest house because your poor" Layla stood up, "your a bitch Serenity" she walked out, a tear rolled down at Layla comment and her dare
"Serenity, you don't have to do it" JJ spoke softly, "but...a dare chip is a dare chip" she sighed, trying to calm herself down, Asher and JJ quickly pulling the frozen girl into a hug, "Serenity it's not a good idea to do the dare" Asher whispered, "asher, its a dare chip, I'm doing it, weather she's here or not, weather I want to or not, I have too" she turned around and took the weed from the person standing behind her
"I'm going outside" she stood up, walking away quickly, "should we check on her Asher?" JJ asked, "give her a minute, then we will or see if she comes back" Asher sighed, "I don't want her to get made at me for just going out there and stopping her, so I will in a minute"
Serenity watched Olivia and Spencer walk into his house, quietly, she took the drug, little by little. She started sobbing after she finished the whole thing. Memories flooded her mind
Flashback
"We should do this more offend" she smirked sitting in the dark beach, "what, get high?" The y'all guy next to her asked, "um yes, put there's other too" she answered with a duh ton, "Asher is going to kill me but it's ok" she started, pressing her lips onto the guys powerfully
End of flashback
More and more came to mind of freshman year, the struggles of that year and how much pain that guy caused her, she sat against the wall, wanting to drown her sorrows with alcohol like a couple years ago, getting high and drinking constantly wasn't the only thing she went through
She grabbed a random alcohol bottle from by the pool, drinking straight from it
Asher waiting a minute and a half, "JJ, I'm going to find Serenity" he stood up, "I'm coming with you" JJ slid on his shirt from poker, "you check front, I'll check back" Asher stated, "it's best if we stay together ash" JJ spoke
"Ok, should we check back first?" He asked the tall blonde boy, "mhm" JJ nodded as the pair made there way out the back door, Serenity swayed back and forth, drinking straight out of the vodka bottle
She was high off her ass and getting drunk in the process, "Asher" JJs eyes widened, "serenity" Asher ran, Serenity about to fall into the deep end of the pool, JJ running at top speed
"Serenity" Asher caught her before she fell, "Darnell?" She questioned, Asher quickly shot his head towards JJ, "ash..." jj stopped, "Asher here let me take her" Asher stood frozen, the guy who had put his best friend through hell and back, Serenity was thinking about him
"Cmon you two" JJ grabbed Ashers hand, "JORDAN" JJ yelled seeing Jordan standing up by the door, quickly running down, "take asher to his room, I'm taking serenity home" JJ spoke handling Asher to Jordan, "he's lost in his thoughts, just poor water in him" Jordan nodded
"Cmon Serenity" JJ held her like a bride, "Darnell" she pet JJs face, "no, bad man serenity, he did bad things to you" JJ reminded her, "huh?" Her drunk high ass asked, "cmon get some sleep on the ride home" he set her in the back, driving with caution
"What the hell happened?" Billy asked as JJ walked into the baker house, "billy, your child is high and drunk and your not going to do anything about it?" JJs temper started, "oh son, she's fine" billy patted him on the shoulder, "you really have your ass all the way up your ass couch" JJ scoffed, "I can't believe you don't give a fuck about her right now, you really don't care about her" JJ headed up the stairs with her
"Here serenity" he layed her down on her bed, "goodnight girlie" he spoke, watching as she moved around her bed trying to get a comfortable position
"Asher" Jordan splashed water on his best friend, "holy fuck" Asher snapped out of his thoughts, "are people still here?" He asked the taller boy, "nope, Olivia and Spencer guides them out" Jordan told him
"I need to know if serenity's ok" he sat up, "JJ took her home, he will stay at our house for the night ok?" Jordan spoke, "and don't worry simp, I'm sleeping on the couch" Jordan chuckled, relief off of Ashers shoulders, "now get some sleep boy" Jordan grinned as he left the room
Next on life's tough: jordan and Olivia tell serenity Jordan suspicions and they make there way to the address in Crenshaw
(Notes) Layla didn't totally break up with Asher yet- a little shorter chapter then normal

Since Olivia tells Jordan the truth abt her and Asher in episode five in the show, will she also tell serenity in the book?
