Shakirat Asad has been enraptured by history and consumed by its never-ending untold stories. Since childhood, she had been exposed to the wonders of the world and it had filled the young child with a sense of purpose. Her mothers had wanted her to have a well rounded education, but all they did was give her the bug for digging as she discovered the secrets the earth hid within its depths. In her eyes, each piece of the past she found had a story to tell and she wanted to be the one to showcase it to the world.
As a young university student from London, Shakirat finds herself hellbent on finishing her last semester for her Master's Degree in order to begin her career. After an extended trip to South America for the summer, Shakirat finds herself in need of a change from the routine that home seemed to manifest in her. So, She takes a chance and applies to further her skills abroad in America at an archaeological internship at the Museum of Natural History in America. When she is accepted she transfers to the local university and begins working on a thesis that could make or break her future.
