MALLORY 'MAL' GARDER WAS PRACTICALLY the third martin twin— or triplet, technically. it all started when garder family and the martin family moved in next door to each other at the ages of 5, and after that, the families stuck together through thick and thin, always finding a way to live right next door to each other, somehow. so, naturally, she befriended zack and cody and they were inseparable for the rest of their lives. causing trouble with zack and having cody help her with her homework would forever be some of the things that made her truly happy.

AND SHE LIKED THE WAY it was. so, when she figures out her feelings for zack mean she likes him in a way that isn't brotherly, she rightfully freaks out. and since she's on a boat, stranded in the middle of the ocean, she can't run from her problems like she would back home.
