POV: rantaro I hear my 3 younger sisters yelling at me to wake up for school "BIG BRO WAKE UP ITS TIME FOR SCHOOL" my 5 year old sister said with the other two waiting.
"I'm up I'm up" I sit up with my mom comeing in "Don't forget to clean up after school cause we have guest coming over today" she said with a smile. "Okay mom" I put my school clothes on and go down stairs to get my breakfast and my bag "Bye mom" I said "bye honey have a nice day"

As I'm walking to school I see a small girl with purple hair looking down and they were heading to my school "I guess there is a new student today"
Time skip to school
I enter the classroom I go to sit next to my friend kaito. "Hey rantaro there is a new student today I hope it's a girl" he said with a smirk on his face. Is it that girl I saw on my way to school? Probably "yea.." I said as I turn to look at maki and she looks very excited. What is she so excited for she is usually just waiting for the teacher when we are in class. speaking of the teacher she just walked in with her smile ready for us to learn
As the teacher was teaching there was a knock on the door. As she walked to open the door I saw maki getting even more excited with her hands shaking like she was about to jump out of her seat.
The teacher opened the door to reveal the girl who I saw on my way to school. But they were wearing a boy uniform. Did I just misgender someone! I turn to maki waving her hand in the air. Did she know him? "Everyone this is kokichi" the teacher said with a smiling face like always. It looked like he didn't hear her say anything but as soon as she tapped him he looked up. he had purple dark hair with light streaks of purple in there and he had light purple eyes

He waved his hand. why doesn't he just say hi? The teacher starts to move her hands and says "Shuichi and maki please raise your hands so Oma knows we're to go" they raise there hands and kokichi goes to them.
Time skip
It was lunch and I went to go sit with kaito. "Hey kaito do you know why maki was so excited to see kokichi?" I said while looking down " huh oh yea they go to the same orphanage or something like that why?" he said while he started to eat. " nothing it was just cause she was so excited and I thought she didn't know him but I guess that answers my question" I turn to see kokichi,Shuichi,maki, and miu talking but kokichi never said a word just moved his hands.
"Hey kaito do you know why they are just moving there hands and not speaking" he started to laugh "what's so funny?" I said getting mad "cause he is deaf the teacher told us or were you not even paying attention" he said while holding in a laugh
Deaf. So he can't hear huh wow I feel bad. "Hey kaito ima go see what there doing" I said while getting up "huh why oh someone has a crush~" he said raising his eyebrows and that smirk he gives.
" WHAT NO I WOULD NEVER LIKE KOKICHI" I realized that I said that out loud. Me liking kokichi no I'm not gay I'm straight right? But I put that thought out of my mind and saw some people looking at me except kokichi and a few other people.
Then I saw maki coming To me with a deadly stare. I was about to die. It's like I forgot maki and kokichi were friends how close were they for her to kill anyone in sight that said something bad about him She was about to give me a punch wehen someone stoped her.
