𝑴𝑶𝑽𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑶𝑵 𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑵 𝑰𝑪𝑬 would always be the perfect definition of grace na's life. chin up, shoulders back and always smile for the picture, that was the only thing her mother taught her to do properly. don't be a shame and always stay kind but reserved. crumble once and you'll destroy everything. and with everything nothing else than the young girl's family's pride was meant. always aiming for a goal that would led to people looking up to the na family was the price for living a wealthy and more or less comfortable life. the family motto 𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗜.𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗜.𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗜 which was nothing more than a quote of caesar meaning 'i came, i saw, i conquered' described pretty much grace's and her older brother's life or at least that what their parents wanted it to be like for the freedom seeking kidults.
𝑮𝑹𝑨𝑪𝑬 𝑵𝑨 𝑾𝑨𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑵𝑨𝑴𝑬 that lingered in many mouths. may it be at the uncountable galas she had to attend or at school which wasn't a much better place to spend time at. it was an unspoken rule, of which way too many existed in the girl's life, that it was required to not be the center of attention but enough outstanding to be admired and that perfectly described the sweet seventeen year old grace. but grace wasn't the only name she went by, whenever there would be family greetings which she despised with a great passion – people addressed her with her birth name, na chaemin. growing up in a strict and traditional south korean family hardened grace from a young age on, although she barely had contact with the rest of her family since her parents both ran successful businesses in australia where she stayed in brisbane along her brother jake. or at least it used to be like that in the past, as soon as her brother turned an adult he moved out to nowhere else than their motherland, south korea, making grace's life even more hell than it already was through leaving her alone which as well showed in her school activities. grace is a person who can stress out about the smallest things and bottle it up but school itself wasn't one of the female's strength so combining it with never ending gala's that led to all nighters caused her grades to drop. and all that bottling up led to a way bigger issue...
𝑯𝑨𝑵 𝑺𝑬𝑶𝑱𝑼𝑵 𝑾𝑨𝑺 𝑸𝑼𝑰𝑻𝑬 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑶𝑷𝑷𝑶𝑺𝑰𝑻𝑬 of the always mannered but timid grace. the boy she'd never met or shouldn't have met at all was someone who acted out of feels and initiative, not caring about the consequences. if grace met seojun before on the street simply passing by, she would've judged him quietly and later badmouth him later for seeming so rowdy like but that be something grace's mother would do unlike han seojun. the boy was nothing more than a person searching for love and affection but having a commitment issue which made him just like grace. after loosing his close friend he developed an invisible wall around him and didn't let anyone in. until he met the person who he expected the least to open up to.
𝑴𝑬𝑬𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑬𝑨𝑪𝑯 𝑶𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑹, 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑹𝑬𝑺𝑬𝑴𝑩𝑳𝑬𝑫 𝒀𝑬𝑻 𝑫𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮𝑼𝑰𝑺𝑯𝑬𝑫 𝑶𝑵𝑬 𝑨𝑵𝑶𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑹, was faith. and that faithful encounter changed everything.

ꗃ❜ 𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗟 𝗗𝗘𝗟 𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗔 :: the final plot is all my idea so i would really appreciate it if y'all wouldn't copy&paste it without telling me! though i have to say that it might happen that there will be similar scenes//aesthetics to other books since i really get inspired by those. also i'll try to upload after a new episode got aired since i still want my book to be actually based on true beauty !

For those who read this book since the start this is a change of face claim since she used to be portrayed by actress kim yoojung but i changed it due to me manifesting red velvet's comeback and joy's solo ! NEW :: THE TITLE changed from drivers license to some, inspired by BOL4's song !
ꗃ❜ 𝗚𝗢𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗡 :: i recommend to read this book in smallest font with white background for aesthetic reasons and for a better edit layout! as well a small disclaimer – english isn't my first language and i sincerely apologize for my legit bad writing style in the first act since i didn't put much effort in it !
