I feel like Diluc would get really pissed off at Kaeya when he's drinking and is still sober but as soon as he's literally fucking dead drunk he is really soft with him and takes care of him even though he has to hate Kaeya he still knows that he has to protect him and take care of him
I feel like Diluc definitely took care of Kaeya as a kids he would scold him for like getting hurt but then he would also feel bad and like bandage up the wound and clean it
Diluc is definitely the mature one between them and if Kaeya were to like get into trouble or something Diluc would definitely help him out even after the event with his father there is still a part of him that cares for Kaeya no matter how much he wants to hate that part of him he just can't bring himself to it
