I started writing this fanfiction at the beginning of this year, just a couple of weeks after I had published my latest Wattpad work. What inspired me to write this fanfiction was this question: What would Greg Heffley's life be like in a world wrought by a devastating pandemic? I decided that the only way to answer this question (and meet my writing quota this year) was to write this fanfic. This fanfiction was strangely one of my most difficult works to produce and there were times where I felt like giving up and focusing on writing another story, one in a genre I was more used to writing. Ultimately, I decided that the only way to go was to push on and finish this book within a few months. I hope that the effort spent on this has come to fruition. The setting of this book and its characters are based on the bestselling series, Diary of A Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. I do not own any rights to the original book series for I am just a fan.
