      "DO YOU THINK SHE'S DEAD?"

"No, she still has a heartbeat, I can hear it, can't you?"

"When she going to wake up?"

      "I don't know!"

Lynn stirred in her heavy sleep as she heard the whispers and comments of what seemed like a boy and a girl. She sighed as she slowly peeled open her eyelids, them still as heavy as can be, but she forced herself to stay awake.

Her whole body felt as if she had been asleep for ages, like her bones couldn't relax and she had never felt this weak before — even when she was a kid.

"Don't you two ever shut up?" Lynn grumbled as she placed a finger on her neck, just being able to feel the bump from where she was injected with the needle — yet, she was still unsure of what the liquid actually was. "Where the hell am I?"

Lynn tried to lift herself up by her palms, but just as soon as she tried, she stumbled back towards the ground, plopping on her behind. Now it was the girls turn to dart forward, wrapping a hand around Lynn's arm as she helped her into a more comfortable position.

"Thanks," breathed out Lynn as she leaned her back against the wall, and then her eyes wandered to where she seemed to be locked in.

It was all stone, and a heavy looking one at that, there were hundreds upon hundreds of different bank drawers, and that's when she recognized that they were inside a bank vault.

Lynn wasn't giving up, so once again she tried to push herself off the ground in an attempt at getting back on her feet — but was interrupted as her left foot fell under the right. She would've smacked her entire body against the cold stone ground if it wasn't for the mystery girl catching her, placing her back on the wall.

"Whoa, you gotta stay down," the girl explained, and Lynn groggily blinked her eyes a few times. "You were dosed with wolfsbane, we don't know how much, but it's got to be a lot if we can just smell it off you."

"I'll be fine," Lynn waved off, but then her eyes fluttered past the brunette girl and into the shadows — where another person started to inch forward, and her face twisted with shock as she recognized him. "Boyd? You're alive?"

"Evelynn?" Boyd replied with confusion, but his voice was shaky. Well, actually, his entire body was vibrating as if he was shivering from the cold, and there were numerous drops of sweat dripping down his forehead. "You shouldn't be here."
