XVI

When Kiyomi woke up, she almost died from happiness when she saw Zenitsu, Inosuke, Wolfie, and Nezuko sleeping with her.

'Oh my god, if other people were to be like this, they'd probably explode from happiness!', Kiyomi thought, her eyes shining bright as she cried internally.

Just then, the sound of a crow interrupted her thoughts.

"CAW--.. Caw caw.. Miss Snowflake, you have a new mission.", Kiyomi's kasugaigarasu named Snow was about to yell her report when she saw Kiyomi putting her finger on her mouth. Snow understood and whispered.

"Thank you, Snow. I'll prepare as soon as I can get out of here.", Kiyomi whispered.

"I will see you later, Snowflake! Caw!", she cawed before flying away.

When Kiyomi got out of the huddle, she quickly changed into her uniform and took her chipped sword. She knew Haganezuka was gonna get mad, so she just kept the chipped blade.

"Where to, Snow?", Kiyomi held out her arm for Snow to land on.

"Head east! Head east! Oyakata-sama said to make a deal with a demon named Tamayo and work together to defeat Kibutsuji Muzan!", Snow said.

Kiyomi gasped, "Tamayo? Eeek! I thought I wasn't gonna meet her! Yeess!!", Kiyomi jumped around in excitement. Snow flew back up as Kiyomi followed.

At the destination... (Night time)

"How am I supposed to find her here?", Kiyomi muttered, looking around the busy town. Snow left an hour ago and Kiyomi is currently trying to find Tamayo's secret base.

Kiyomi decided to rest for a minute and bought food.

'These are soo delicious! I'll bring some for everyone when I come back!', she thought, munching on the dangos she bought.

She was at a peaceful place, sitting on a bench while eating food. While she was eating, she looked around her surroundings incase she might spot Tamayo.

And she did. Well, not Yamayo, but her partner, Yushiro.

'Is.. is that... Yushiro?! And he's going through a wall, too!', her eyes widened. The mysterious boy just disappeared in the wall.

Kiyomi quickly finished eating her food and went to the wall Yushiro just disappeared in.

When she reached out her hand to the wall, it made contact.

'Huh? Shouldn't my hand supposed to be going through this wall? Maybe Yushiro took off his demon art.', Kiyomi thought. She looked up and had an idea.

She took a few steps back and ran towards the wall, and jumped high before it hit her.

'I hope I'm not trespassing...', Kiyomi sweatdropped. (GuRl, tSk- YoU aRe trEspassIng indEEd!)

Kiyomi then climed down on the other side of the wall, and saw a big house in front.

"Wow...", she was in awe. Then, she flinched in surprise when a certain boy with mint to black hair appeared infront of her.

"Who are you and how did you get here?!", the man, who Kiyomi immediately knew it was Yushiro, yelled.

"I-i- umm- uh- huh?", she stuttered.

"A demon slayer! How did you know this place?? Are you here to kill us?! I'm going to kill you first!", Yushiro threw his fist towards Kiyomi, but she dodged by bending her knee.

"L-let me explain!", Kiyomi wailed her hands in panic.

"May I ask who you are?", Another familiar voice spoke.

"Tamayo-sama! This is a demon slayer that knows of our location!", Yushiro looked at Tamayo.

"U-um hi?- I mean- my name is Takahashi Kiyomi! I won't kill you both and I need to speak to someone named Tamayo!", she said, pretending as if the one she was looking for wasn't in front of her.

"I am Tamayo. What is your purpose, Takahashi-san?", the lady, who was Tamayo, said.

"Oh- uh, the master of the demon slaying corps, Ubuyashiki Kagaya, would like to work together with you, to defeat Kibutsuji Muzan, miss Tamayo", Kiyomi said. Tamayo and Yushiro looked at her, surprised.

"But me and Yushiro are demons?", Tamayo said.

"Yes, but you are different than those wretched demons. There are good ones and bad ones, and the two of you along with Nezuko-chan are good ones!", Kiyomi smiled.

"Thank you for believing that belief, Takahashi-san.", Tamayo smiled.

"Should we trust her, Tamayo-sama?", Yushiro asked, still glaring daggers at Kiyomi.

"Oh don't worry, you can decline the offer if you want!", Kiyomi waved her hands in acceptance.

"It's okay, Yushiro. We accept, Takahashi-san. But, may I ask, what can we do to help?", Tamayo asked.

"I'll explain! First-" "How about we go inside first?", Tamayo interrupted.

"Okay, thank you!", Kiyomi smiled as they all went inside.

As Kiyomi explained, Tamayo listened to her while Yushiro kept glaring daggers at her.

After their talk, Kiyomi went back to the Ubuyashiki estate with the help of Snow to tell Kagaya what happened. It was a complicated way to go to the Ubuyashiki estate, but Kiyomi managed to find the way.

"Tamayo-san has accepted the offer, Oyakata-sama.", Kiyomi said.

"Thank you for telling me, Kiyomi-- cough -cough!", Kagaya was cut off by coughing out blood. His wife, Ubuyashiki Amane helped him and carried a towel to cover his mouth.

"You're getting worse, Oyakata-sama!", Kiyomi panicked.

"Like I told you, I am gonna die soon.", Kagaya said.

"No your not. Stop thinking that! I promise we'll defeat Muzan before you die.", Kiyomi frowned.

"I hope so...", he smiled.

"I must go now, Oyakata-sama. I pray for you and your family's safety and health.", Kiyomi stood up and bowed before leaving the room.

'I have to find a situation to at least ease Oyakata-sama's curse.', she thought. She then ran to the butterfly estate.

"People have their own circumstances, so I would like you to stop poking around insensitively!! Let go of Aoi-san!!", Kiyomi suddenly heard Tanjiro's yells, so she ran towards the noise

"Tepid, so tepid. You're a giant mess and plain out tired. The demon hunters are just getting weaker and weaker.", Uzui spat.

"Then we'll go in Aoi-san's stead, Uzui-sama.", Kiyomi said as she appeared from behind Uzui.

Zenitsu and Inosuke also appeared on the top of the walls.

"I was just on my way back, but I got some strength left. I can head out!", Inosuke said, pointing at himself.

"L-l-let go of Aoi-chan!! Even if you're some kind of muscle monster, y-y-you're not t-taking a single step..!", Zenitsu stuttered.

Uzui glared at them which made them flinch. He looked at Kiyomi behind, looking at him warily.

"Oh okay. Then I'll have you guys come with me.", he accepted.

"But don't you dare defy me, punks.", He added before slapping Aoi's butt.

Aoi was finally returned. Now the four are following the sound hashira.

"So? Where are we going, geezer?", Inosuke asked rudely.

"To the most flamboyant place of japan, filled with lust and greed.", Uzui replied, confusing Tanjiro and Inosuke. Zenitsu, along with Kiyomi, knew what he was talking about.

"The 'red light district', where the demon lives.", He smiled.
