A poem to mum

This constant pain
This constant urge to please
But my best is just not good enough in your eyes, you see.
I try and try so hard, trying to make you see me
But you'r too blind to see
Too blind to notice me slipping slowly out of the grasps of your hands
Too blind to notice that whilst I slip away, I'm taking a stand
Taking a stand against all the neglet, all the pain I go through trying so hard to impress you
But you're to blind to see
Too busy being fixated on revenge and on hatred that you won't even take time out of your not so busy schedule to notice me.
I'm right here, mom.
It's me, your daughter.
No point in trying to make you see what others see in me
Because you're too blind to see.
