flashback-
"YOU STUPID PEICE OF SHIT, GET OUT OF MY SIGHT" y/n mom yells at her as she throws a shoe at her . It hits y/n right on the cheek, she runs up to her room and locks the door hoping she won't get hit again. She tries to breathe in calming herself down but instead she broke down crying trying her hardest not to make to much noise. She goes up to the mirror and looks at the now bruise on her cheek. She looks at herself and tries to make a smile but it's barley visible.
'Why me, why did she have to give birth to me' y/n thought. She walks over to her window and tries her best not to make any noise, as she climbs down she she her mom asleep on the couch, y/n face softens. Maybe there is a place in her mother heart where she feels bad about what she does to her daughter. As y/n feels the ground she jumps and walks off finding somewhere to take her mind off . As she continues on walking she hears some yelling across the street and see a couple of people yelling, until she gets pulled into a alleyway.
"Who are you" she questioned
"Don't worry, but I'm helping you because they tend to be like this a lot, and it gets ugly" the mystery person says as they lights a blunt
"Want some" they say as they hold the blunt towards her
"I'm only 11" she says as she backs up
" so I started smoking when I was 10" they say
Y/n grabs the blunt and takes it hit, soon she starts coughing
"don't worry it won't last long, only about 5-6 minutes" they say as they take another hit. Soon her coughing dies down
"Do you have anymore" she says
"Yeah I got one more blunt" they say as they reach for the last one, they light it and share it in silence
"So what's a kid like you doing out here" they ask as they take a long hit and then pass it to y/n
"Oh I needed a break from something, I always do this, never seen you here before" she says as she passes it back to him
"I just moved here" they say
"Oh, well I'm y/n" she says as she gives a smile. The person soon puts down there hood and reveals the identity
"I'm Matthew" he says as he smiles at the young girl
"Do you know what time it is" Y/n ask. As he looks at his phone his eyes widen
"Holy shit, it's 1:30 in the morning, you better get on home" he says as he pulls something out of his pocket
"Here, just in case I'm not around when you want some more, here my phone number and a half a ounce of weed, I'll teach you how to roll it some other time" he says as he starts to walk off
"Ok matthew" y/n says
"Oh and kid, don't do drugs" he says as he smiles
As y/n is walking back home she wonders, what would happen if my mom was normal. Y/n makes her way to her window abs hops in the shower making sure her mom won't smell the scent of weed, she goes downstairs to still see her mom sleeping peacefully, she goes and get a blanket and covers it over her mom.
"Goodnight mom" she whispers and she goes upstairs and goes to bed
End of flashback-
"Y/n..... hey where here" Austin says and he shakes me
Wellsbury Massachusetts
"You'll both like it" Georgia says with a warm smile
"It looks like Paul Revere boned a pumpkin spice latte" Ginny says as she rolls her eyes
"Looks like some basic white rich ass town to me " y/n says with a shrug
" Mark my words, we are going to run this goddam town" Georgia says
"Run it, burn it to the ground, then flee into the night, sounds about right" ginny says as she puts her head on the window
"Even the politics are a looking like a snack here, he looks like a young JFK" Georgia says as she pushes down her glasses to the guy more better
"Like the desert right" Ginny says
We soon get to the house and it looks actually nice
"Now it's a far cry from the walk up in Houston and the apartment in New Orleans, but look at this" Georgia says pushed Ginny with her hip
"It's just ours? Just the 4 of us?" Austin says as he looks at the house with amazement in his eyes
Georgia nods her head as she runs Austin shoulder
"I'm going to pick the biggest bed room" Austin says as he runs off into the house. I move closer to mom and whisper thank you. She looks at me and smiles brightly
"You welcome peach, now go pick out your room" She says as she pushes me slightly towards the house. I walk upstairs and see 4 doors, I go into one of the rooms and a decent room but it big, I go to the second one and see two windows, hmm nah I only like one, I go to the third door and see one window that looks perfect, I go and get a few of my bags and set them in the room I want l, I got outside and go get some of my boxes, then Georgia is beside me doing the same thing
"So I see you got the one with the low window"she says as she wiggles her eyebrows
"Yeah I hope it's alright with you?" Y/n says hoping she didn't make a mistake
"I'm fine with it peach, but you have to promise me to tell me where your going at first, and if you come back with that ZaZa u gotta give me a couple" She says as she side hugs me. I smile and start to continue on what I was doing
"I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU WHERE THINKING, SMOKING WEED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, REAL SMART OF YOU HUH, SMOKING RIGHT IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, WHAT IF THERE WAS A COP" The women says
Me and Georgia look that way and women yelling at her son
Soon she screams and looks over our way, Georgia waves to her and the women looks like she a deer and headlights
"Since when is weed legal?" I ask
"Well not for y'all but I'll let that slide" Georgia says
I finish getting most of my boxes and bring them to my room
I go back downstairs to get the last two boxes and see one labeled
ChildHood
I brush the dust off of the box and open it, I see my stuffed animal and my papers. I remember it like it was yesterday, my mom giving me to Georgia like I was some thing, like I didn't belong, I remember all the things she did to me. I wipe my eyes before the tears fall and pick it up, I see the women that was yelling go inside my house, I go in and see her talking about what happened
"Oh I understand, I have two teens" Georgia says
"What,No way, did u happen to give birth at 12?"
"No I had one at 15 and - she took me in, I'm not her birth daughter" I say while cutting of Georgia. The women turns behind her and see a girl that doesn't even look like Georgia
"Hello I'm y/n" I say as I put my hand out
"Ellen, you can call me Ellen" Ellen says as she shakes my hand
"Now if you would excuse me, I need to go finish before nighttime, I wanna get a good sleep for tomorrow" I saw my as I give them both a warm smile
I hurry on upstairs and unpack my belongings.
Timeskip-
"Why are you crouching?" I ask Ginny
"What huh, I'm not hiding" She says
"You should see your face" I say as I laughing
"Peach I got you a present" Georgia says as she walks over to Ginny Room. She hols up a sweater and it looks cute
"Gross" Ginny says as she out of breath
"Totally but I thought you could wear it to school tomorrow" Georgia says while holding it up to her chest
" She scared that if she wears it she won't fit in" I say as I take the skirt in Georgia hand
"but here the catch I put the charcoal infinity scarf on her" Georgia says as she drops the sweater and models in a black scarf. Ginny looks at Georgia and goes back to arranging her room
"So this is the new thing, hatin on mom" Georgia says
"I don't hate you, I love you" I say as I go and hug her
"I know you'll always love me peach" Georgia says as she kisses my head
"But comon this is how we use to be, we're like the Gilmore girls but with bigger boobs,"Georgia says as she winks and walks over and sits on ginnys bed
"I'm just tired, it's a big day tomorrow, new school, number five" Ginnys says as she leans on her desk
"You know I read that stability is crucial for children in thier formative years. Maybe that's why Austin still wets the bed" Ginnys continues
"Ok don't be so tough on mom" I say as I sit down next to Georgia
"Yeah don't be so tough on mom" Georgia copies me
"But this place is different, I can feel it, we're are most definitely going to put down the roots" She says as she looks at Ginny
"That's what you said about Houston" Ginny says as she laughs
"Well I was wrong bout Houston"
"Well it's always going to be the same" Ginny
"Try to be more creative, this super streotypical angst teen girl routine you is doing, well it's Boring" Georgia says as she slightly raises her voice
"I don't like it when your mad at me, now come here" Georgia says as she pats downs a spot next to her. Ginny rolls her eyes before going to go sit next to Georgia. She puts an arm around the both of us
"It's me, you, and y/n against the world kid, remember that" Georgia says as we lean into her
"What about Austin" I question
"Don't be nervous about tomorrow, you'll both fit in fine" Georgia says
"I'm not nervous" Ginnys says while smiling
"You big fibber, I can tell your nervous" Georgia says as she giggles
"I'm not nervous, but me and y/n do need a good night sleep" Ginny says
"Ahh you a party pooper, sometimes I can't believe u came out of me" Georgia says as she gets up and kisses Ginny
"Night peach" Georgia says
"Night Ginny" I say as I get up and hug her
"Goodnight y/n/n" Ginny says as she hugs me back
I walk over to my room and finish unpacking the rest of my things

As y/n shuts off her phone she smiles, Matthew was always like a father to her, even if he was 22. She was there for y/n when no one wasn't, he was a highschool drop out when he first met y/n, now their like a father and daughter relationship. As y/n drifts off to sleep she is soon woken to Georgia shaking y/n
"Y/n I got some weed, now can you roll them into joints" Georgia says as she shows y/n the weed she snagged
"Yeah, lemme just rest for a little bit" Y/n says trying to go back to sleep
"Comon I need it, I'll let u keep 3 joints" Georgia says
"Ight, I would if u let me get up" Y/n says
She rolls off of the tired girl and pushes the girl off her bed
"Heyy just for that you have to get me more" Y/n says as she rubs her eyes, she pulls something under her bed and opens it, in there is a few gifts Matthew gave her. She takes the weed and rolls them into 12 rolls.
" here I get 4 now since u did that" y/n says as she takes the 4
"Light one up peach" Georgia says
They sit in silence until the joint is done for
"You have to teach me how to roll" Georgia says
"Yeah some day I will" y/n says as she gets back into her bed
"Goodnight peach, I'll always love you" Georgia says as she gives the girl a kiss on the forehead
"Night mom" y/n says with a smile
Soon the girl is in a deep slumber
