In honor of  Women's History Month and especially all of our beautiful black beauties who write, here's a list of some books you should add to your library and writers to look out for 💅🏽

1. theeoriginalbangerr   I started reading her book "MJ", but she has plenty of work for everyone. Also, she's the sweetest okayyyy ❤️
 
2. shamoan She has 3 books out, 2 of which I'm really enjoying, "The Contract" and "True Secrecy". Run sis her votes, views and comments!!

4. -nanasays  Ya know my good sis gon be on this list okay!! If you're not reading Pride or 2Sides, then what is you doin? Sorry to you, cuz thems is really that bitch!! If you trust me and my tastes, then go read her books ✨

5. -jacksonbratz  She has so many books, which I myself need to get into, but Falling For Your Flaws? Chef's kiss, my dears. And Dark Deception is so funny, like an urban MJ fanfic that's funny, we stan ! And one thing to note with Kassidy, her writing progresses before your eyes, I love that. Seeing people grow through and in their writing is an underrated blessing, get into it 🗣

6. velvetcurlssmj  Her books are really the funniest and her characters will grow on you. And all that drama??? What more could you ask for?

7. qveen_k7   A hidden gem!! She's so funny and supportive y'all, but lemme tell you, she's got a few books out that you need to be looking out for! "Astral" looks like such a new thing, I haven't seen MJ fanfics with astral projection, so y'all just not seeing her in this category!! Give her books a go ✨

8. ssadchickenlover Her books have been sitting so pretty in my library, lookin' like Skai Jackson. But I will read them soon and so should thou 🗣. I've caught a few sneak peeks and it's giving the girls what the menu said it was gon give! The picture and meal match!! Taco Bell and McDonald's ain't seein' her 🗣

9. juicyxcurry  She's amazing, period. All I've ever seen from sis is support, for everyone, we loves that 😫 "Solace" is a hidden gem as well, starring MJ and our good sis Chloe and Halle Bailey. Run up her numbers, ASAP, no rocky!!

10. _TheBlueGangsta_ Another fave of mine, I stan her and just recently found out she writes. What am I gonna do about that? I'm gon read like my name is Arthur OK 🧏🏽‍♀️ Yuh, get into ittttt

11. maikolsedges  She's also a fave of mine (so supportive) ❤️ and I've also just found out she has many books out. Join me on this adventure as I discover her books, but if you've read them, suggest which one I should start with please ✨

12. N0TMYL0V3R She has a couple of books out that we have to go and check out, cuz it's giving hidden gems. She's also really sweet and one thing about me, I just love a kind soul

13. Michael_sTenderoni  "Infinite Dysphoria" looks so good 🗣🗣🗣 do you see the cover? Do you see it?? Spectacles or not I, I know you see it!! It's giving must-read. And yes, I'm judging a book by it's cover. Who gon check me boo? But fr, even the description is giving, sooooo 💅🏽

We'll end the list at my favorite numero, but keep in mind, this is just some of manyyyy black writers who I think we should be checking for and who are underrated/hidden gems.

It bothers me that our work doesn't get the kind of attention a lot of *problematic* and, frankly, mediocre books out there, snagging 100k's left and right.

I love all .. most women 🥴, but my black women first, and that's just on Black Girls Rock ✨
