"Pain, I'm so boooored!" Whined Naruto.

Itachi wasn't here today so Naruto has no one to play with. He was apparently busy with something.
Pain sighed.
"Not right now Naruto."
The blond pouted, clicking his tongue.
"Lemme guess, you also have something to do?"
The ginger nodded. He looked like he feels bad.
"I've got nothing to do! Are any of you not busy?"
Pain opened his mouth to speak, but quickly furrowed his eyebrows, considering the question.
"Actually yeah."

"I need to take care of the brat? What about Itachi?" Asked Deidara, folding his arms while wearing a scowl on his face.
"I'm not a brat! And Itachi is busy. Unlike you!"
Deidara raised a brow, looking unimpressed.
"So he has better things to do than taking care of you? Oh I see. Hm!"
Naruto clenched his teeth. Pain blinked.
"Uh... consider this a bonding session. Besides, we're technically all like family. You two need to get along." He said.
The child let out an exaggerated groan.

~Timeskip brought to you by Deidara's obsession to blowing things up~

"Deidara."
Silence.
"Hey! Hey Deidara!"
Beat.
Naruto growled.
"Oh come on! What are you making me wait for?"
"Patience you brat! Hm!" Said Deidara, reaching into a box surprisingly well hidden behind a dresser. He opened the white carton box and pulled out some clay that had a simple light gray color. Naruto raised a brow, observing the heap of modeling dough.
"Hm?"
Deidara sighed, looking like he's not in the mood of anything.
"It's clay. Do you not know what that is?"
The jinchuriki looked back up and rolled his eyes.
"Of course I know! What am I supposed to do with it?"
Deidara blinked, looking horrified.
"You've never done any clay art before?!?"
Naruto nodded. The artist sighed, taking out another chunk of clay from the box.
"Allow me to demonstrate."

~Yes another time skip lolol~

Naruto chuckled. His Fox sculpture was looking pretty good. Deidara has already finished doing about four sculptures of various animals.
"You done? What's that supposed to be? Hm!" Asked Deidara, placing his chin on his hand and observing Naruto's sculpture.
"That Kyuubi?"
The child nodded with a frown.
"Kurama! It's Ku ra ma!"
Deidara nodded with a smirk on his face.
"It looks pretty good. You've got talent, Naruto."
Naruto grinned wholesomely, thanking Deidara. He observed Deidaras.
"Yours look pretty interesting..."
The artist raised a brow.
"Wait, there's more to them." He took the clay bird and threw it up. It started to fly.
"Woah!" Naruto watched in awe as it fluttered its wings, staying in on one spot in mid air.
Then, it exploded.
The child's eyebrows went up as his eyes widened. He smiled.
"No way! That's so cool! Is that a jutsu or something?" He asked.
Deidara folded his arms and nodded.
"It's super cool!"
"You like my art, then?"
Naruto slowly nodded. The older male smiled and ruffled his hair.
"Y'a know, I think I actually do like y'a, kid!"
