I rushed from out the parking lot heading to class. Class starts at 8 and it was 7:55 but I was all the way in the parking lot so I needed to hurry if I wanna make it on time

I started jogging on the wet grass accidentally stepping in a puddle of mud in my new Air forces

"Mmcht bruh" I mumbled shaking some of the mud on my shoe off and carefully walking the rest of the way

What a way to start my day off...

I heard mumbling and giggling so I turned to my left and it was the same girls that was starring at me the last time I was here laughing at me. but I got time today

I stopped in my tracks and looked at them

"What the fuck is so funny?" I cocked my head to the side and they stopped laughing and frowned

"We wasn't even laughing at you" One girl said rolling her eyes

"Oh okay keep it that way" I snapped and continued walking making sure to brush pass them in the process

I finally made it to my classroom. I walked in greeting my teacher then sitting down at a table by myself

The bell rung so the teacher went and locked the door then going to the front of the classroom

"Good morning class, as we come to the end of this long school year for the last 2 weeks of school we will be doing collaborative work"

"Soon y'all are gonna be out of here. Becoming nurses and doctors isn't easy that's why we're going to partner into pairs and work on a baby delivering project. I count on you guys to choose your own partners so that you'll be more comfortable with this assignment. I'll give you 5 minutes" He said then going to sit at his desk as everybody started getting up and moving around

This was one thing I hated in school, when we have to partner up and work with people because I don't speak to anybody therefore I never have a partner so I always get paired with the weird kid and it's awkward the whole time

I rolled my eyes staying in my same seat and getting on my phone

I felt a presence next to me so I looked up and it was the same boy that asked me if I had a boyfriend last week

"You wanna be my partner? Ion really know nobody in here" He scratched his head

"Umm sure and same" I said putting my phone down looking at him

"So what's your name?" He asked

"Legend, what's yours?" I asked

"Kaylen"

"Oh"

"Kaylen you wanna be my partner?" The same girl from outside asked him as she came up to us

I swear muhfucas be following me in this school ... I've never noticed her in this class until today

"Nah I got a partner already. I'm working wit shorty" He pointed at me
