BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE park, you and eren stopped by a small convenience store that sells cat food since eren wanted to buy some for the little ones. it was cute, seeing eren's body knelt down while his eyes scanned the entire section of cat food ahead of him, a contemplative expression on his face as he pondered on what to get.

after several moments of him choosing what to get, you helped him, since you've raised kittens whenever you were younger and still living with your mother. eren was grateful for you being there with him, if you weren't, he'd possibly be staring at the section too long to the point where the employee might have to approach him and help him instead.

you got yourself another cold strawberry milk from the fridge of the convenience store since you were suddenly craving for one. eren paid his items next before you both left the store together, beginning to make your way to the small park.

holding the strawberry milk in one of your hands, you pulled the plastic wrapper that sealed the straw off of the pink carton and poked the straw out of the wrapper before inserting it inside the hole at the top. you brought the straw to your lips, sucking up the strawberry milk before swallowing it down your throat, a feeling of freshness from the cold temperature of the liquid and the delight taste whelming your entire body.

eren's eyes were focused on you throughout that entire action, a smile forming upon his lips, seeing how much you loved strawberry milk. you noticed his green eyes pinned on the carton, then glanced down at it in your hands before removing your lips from the straw. you extended your arm with the strawberry milk in your hands towards eren, tilting your head to the side for a better angle of his winsome face.

"want some?" you questioned.

heat rose to eren's cheeks as he turned away, "n-no. it's okay."

"you sure? you've been staring at it," you chuckled and it made eren's face burn even more, he probably looked like a tomato at that point and just thinking about himself in that state made him feel even more embarrassed and red. he inhaled the air softly, relaxing himself before recalling to your words. you've been staring at it.

no, actually i was staring at you. eren confessed in his mind but he didn't dare to open his mouth and admit that. eren didn't want you to think he was absurd for saying such thing to you, he didn't even know why he thought of such answer he kept in his mouth.

"no.. it's okay, seriously. it's your drink that you bought, you should enjoy it for yourself," eren answered after he cleared his throat, his eyes still fixated on the ground below him. it made you frown, you really didn't want to pester him but you thought of taking one more chance.
