Young African

I am young, but I am not blind to the issues surrounding my life.
I am a female, but I do not limit myself to the restrictions society has placed upon us.
And I am African American. A young African American female who aspires for nothing more than pure happiness and genuine love from the relationships I build.

But in a world where if you are not from money, connections and/or white, it is pure Social Darwinism among peers.
Happiness becomes only a dream, and you claw your way through life praying as you step, that you do not succumb to the stereotype.

Every word I spill out of me is to express my rhetoric. My ethos, my logos, my pathos. To bring to light what it is like, as an educated young African American female to live in society. I do not want to offend anyone. That is not the purpose of why I write. I write because I love it and because words are power. Free power which entitles me to express myself freely.

May you understand and enjoy.
