part 1 - new life - (b)

i woke up to screaming in my ear.

A: GET UP! WHY ISN'T MY HOMEWORK FINISHED!

C: OR MINE!

B: i'm sorry. but i'm not your puppet!

A: oh is that so? DADDY!

H: yes princess!

C: maid didn't do our homework.

B: i'm sorry!

he walked into my room and grabbed my hair.
he slapped me multiple times. my cheek was all red.

H: do it now.

B: okay sorry..

they all left my room, i grabbed my small bag, packed a few clothes, some cash, and i left. i walked to the nearest bus station. i got on the bus to a sketchy town called riverdale.

?: hey!

i kept walking. i didn't know anybody. i was scared. i felt an arm touch me. i jumped in fear.

J: hey it's okay! i'm not gonna hurt you!

B: how do i know that..

J: my dad's the sheriff.

B: what's your name sheriff kid.

J: jughead jones.

i froze.

B: is your dad f-

J: fp jones, he is, you know him.

B: uhm.. yea.

J: well it's gonna be a good meet up...

B: oh it's betty. betty cooper.

J: well betts. let's go see my dad.

i walked with him and we talked for a bit. he took me to a place called "The Whyte Wyrm"

J: SERPENTS!

they all starred at him and i was uncomfy.

FP: boy what's th- betty!

B: fp!

i ran up to him and hugged him.

FP: finally escaped those abusive parents of yours!

B: yeah.

J: sorry what, abusive?

i stayed silent.

FP: uhm. betty, where you stayin?

B: i have 5 bucks. so. probably a sidewalk.

FP: nope! i will not let you sleep on a sidewalk.

B: i can't go back to vegas with my family..

?: me fangs and toni have a room in our apartment,

FP: do not threaten her.

i slowly started to back up. i saw a bunch of people staring at me. i felt jughead grab me and he protected me from the girl who threatened me. i heard her call out.

?: I WILL CALL HAL COOPER, HE'LL BE BLESSED THAT HIS PUNCHING BAG WAS FOUND!

my heart sank.

J: okay betty let's go.

B: what where are we going.

J: your gonna stay at the trailer with us.

B: okay..

we pushed past all these people and outside. he led me over to... a motercycle! it was my dream to ride one but i never could!

J: hop on.

B: without a helmet?

J: you can use mine, the trailer park is only across the way.

B: okay..

i put the helmet on and clipped it.

J: better hold onto me tight.

i wrapped my arms around his waist. oh. no. i was catching feelings for fps son.. he gave me butterflies even though i just met him! we got to the trailer park. we went inside and i looked around. the first thing that catches my eye is a
picture of my best friend jellybean.

JB: who's the chick?

i turned around and there she was.

B: jb!

JB: betty!

J: you know her too!

i gave her a big hug.

B: never told me you were a jones jb!

JB: girl has her secrets.

i stared at jughead just thinking about him.

JB: betty can i talk to you!

B: uh yeah!

she pulled my arm and into a room. she started to whisper to me.

JB: you like himmm. dude he likes you too, he's never acted like this. all protective and softie.

B: shush!

JB: okay let's do this.

she kicked the door and we heard a groan. she opened the door and jughead laid there holding his stomach.

B: is he okay-

JB: nope! i'm gonna go shower.

she nearly slammed her down shut. i looked back at jughead who was groaning in pain and holding his stomach.

B: okay let's go.

i helped him up and brought him over to the couch.

J: i hate my sister.

B: don't say that. your the one who was snooping.

J: oh please. it's not a stupid fairytale with that love at first sight shit.

we both laughed. i could see in his eyes that he didn't mean it. maybe jb was right. does he like me..?
