It's hard to think of a place to begin with on a fictional world. A world that evolved along like terra and yet not quite so. With living Gods, armies of demons and angels fighting in their past, to building great kingdoms and furthering civilization.
In Hyperions past there are many key historical events, each revolving around a member of Adams descendants. From Kain and his battle with the proto-Brotherhood. To his Daughter, Claire, who united the kingdom under one banner.
From industrial revolution, world wars and political corruption, to the post war world Joshua and John grew up in.
All the way up to Davids take over of Hyperion, and the split between Hyperion and Brotherhood that still splits the Human race to this day.
Like I said before..... It's hard to think of a place to begin with on a fictional world.
