And he welcomed death more now then ever ronin lay there in the bed pain coursing through his back he groaned thinking of how he was going to get out of this mandrake said he had guards posted outside the door and at every inch of the halls and I didn't doubt it one bit but the moon was almost at its peak I had to get up "guh" I gasped it hurt so bad I fell back on the bed feeling defeated I layed back down almost crying but I saw out the window they where ascaping with the spud yes I said almost like a whisper a prayer but then I herd it I herd him "you didn't honestly think that would work and to think I prepared so many men" he chuckled then shouted "GET THEM!" No I yelled that's when I saw them so many of them chase after the spud and the boy I was supposed to protect and a girl who may never see her father again I started  to tear up I couldn't hold it back and then I herd it there scream and I jumped up no mater how bad it hurt I ran out the window strait to them I leaped in front of them grabbing a sord on the way the cape draping over my entire body I held the sord out in front of the kids he stayersd at mandrake his captor his rapeist his legs where trembling and his arms were week he didn't have the strength nor the power to fight them all so he said the unthinkable the thing he has been trying to stop from happening thourout his stay his brain was shouting at him to not say it but he did "please stop please" mandrake smirked and said "what was that ronin I couldn't hear you"  I looked at him like a silent plea he didn't let up I just said "pleas don't hurt them I beg you" he smirked wider if possible he even came up to me and grabbed my chin he spoke softly and said "now why would I do such a thing" that's when the kids finally decided to speak up "ronin what is he talking about and why are you wearing his cape?" The girl said while the boy just looked at us with disbelief "ronin no pleas tell me he didn't..." I just looked at him pleading him to not finish that statement while I wasn't looking mandrake pulled me to his Chest I dropped the sword in the process I was starting to tear up and shake he was still smirking and said "well you see I took him in my bed he is mine and if you want out of hear unharmed with him still alive then give me the spud" the boy looked to use and said "ronin no I'm so sorry" that broke me I started to cry quietly I looked up at mandrake and pleaded " pleas let them go let them live" he tilted my chin up more and kissed me I didn't fight back nor did I participate I stayed there not moving silently praying once he was done he smirked and shouted "NOW!!" And all his followers flooded in more and more and sarounded the kids he pulled my face into his chest I struggled he hit the back of my head and everything started to fade I felt hopeless and tiered I could hear screaming but everything was so blurry and then I was being carried back to the bed and then I was out like a light the last words I herd where "when you wake you will be my dark prince" and then it was a dark void

                         POV mandrake 
I looked at him he was asleep he looked distraught and peaceful all at once it was beautiful I layed him down back on the silk sheats as I made my way to the dark room and there they where tow slugs a girl and the boy ronin was so willing to give his life to I smirked and said "so how is my beautiful spud" they all looked at me and the boy grit his teeth and though a rock at me I doeged it and said "was that your brilliant plan of escape not that clever" he looked away I went up to the girl who pulled the spud closer she said "stay back" the spud curled it's vines around her arms "well I was just making sure it was growing properly" she snarled at me and said "you are a filthy pig" I smiled and said "oh I have been called worse things then that trust me" the boy was glaring at me the fat slug said "yo back off my girl homy" I chuckled and said "or what" he said "or I'll let the seed die" I just growled and then made them tell me some very important information "so I only need one of you to watch over the spud" they stared at me speechless I stabbed the fat slug in the hart and watched it turn to ash they started to cry the boy lunged at me I just dodged and as soon as he hit the ground my sword was at his throat the girl skreamed "NO PLEASE DON'T!" I laughed and said "aww how pathetic you like him" she looked at me crying I jus laughed again I took my sord off his neck and said "then give me the spud" she let it go and passed it to me I smiled pointing my sword at the snail and said now you come with me" he said "why should I you killed my only friend" I smiled and said "fine then" I stabbed my sword through his hart saying "I'll find a different slug" the girl started to cry harder I went down to the room which the bowl of water and placed the spud in it I ordered my minions to get me a slug for the spud they went off to fofill there duty I looked at it starting to turn black I smiled and made my way back to my room to check on my precious little ronin he was still asleep but having a nightmare I went up to the bed crawled on it and grabbed him to my chest playing with his short hair "hmm I need to grow this out" he stirred awake "mmm where am I" I chuckled
