The Forest Lord

Gins POV*

Where am I? I opened my eyes and look around for a bit, all I could hear was the sound of birds and water running. I was just a kid so I didn't remember that much, but what I do remember is a dark narrow shadow that hovered over me, it had one eye and was smiling. I remember I stared crying but I don't know why, just then before I knew it my eyes where covered by a mask sort of thing, but there where holes for me to see out of. I got picked up by the spirt and he took me into a cabin, I grew up with him and some others he told me to call him Yamagami- He was a forest lord

( 6 Years Later)

Years have passed and now I'm 7, I was walking around the forest barefoot looking for berry's when I tripped over a tree stump. "Ouch! That hurt" I said getting up as I brushed the dirt off my pants, just than Yamagami appeared infrot of me witch gave me a startle, "Oh Gin what are you out here looking for?" He looked down at me, "Just some berry's" I said smiling under the big mask, he stared to laugh. "Gin you really are a cute kid" He said putting his hand on my head. "Want to hear a story?" He asked me, I nodded my head and he took me under a big tree not to far from home. "You see Gin there is a Youkai called No Face he looks like me but has a mask he looks like us but we are a different from of Youkai." Yokai? I looked up at him. What a silly name for a spirt, "Gin we come from the shadow realm and when I gave you the mask because I had no clue what to do with you after the humans left you here but you must not touch a human, they look like you but talk more and might be taller or older" I nodded my head as I remembered a moment from the past as a man and women brought me here, in a basket and the women just looked at me and left me on the grass with the sun in my eyes.

Yamagami POV*

Gin has always been a cute kid, even if we aren't his real family, we treat him and love him like he is family. Well everyone here in the forest is already family and we care for Gin so much, witch is the reason we took him under our wing and gave him the spirt mask. "Gin so do you understand why it is not safe to make a human touch you?" I asked him, he looked up at me and nodded "Yes! Because they will kill me and I don't want to be killed" he said shaking his head I laughed at him. "Man Gin you are one of the most funniest spirt I ever met" he looked at me with a smile, but before he could say anything a human girl came slipping down the forest path near us. "Gin let's go" I said grabbing him and taking him back home.
