The usual, Ben finally came around after that last little bust up between him and Brogan. It wasn't exactly forgotten about but the arguing and the childish comments had came to a close, which was definitely a start.
Hopefully this was the start of things being back on track.
"What are you doing tonight? All dressed up and nowhere to go?" Ben cracked one of his usual jokes, leaving Brogan looking rather frustrated.
"Don't tell me you forgot..." The brunette rolled her eyes, as her arms folded across her chest. "Are you for real?"
He looked straight back at her and pulled a thinking face, feeling completely clueless. "It's not your birthday, it's not our anniversary."
"That event I got invited to, the one you said you'd be my plus one to." Brogan said, which eventually re jogged her boyfriend's memory. "Remember now?"
"Oh, about that..." Ben paused. "I'm not going to be able to make it, got something else on with the lads. I'm sorry, Brogs." He patted her shoulder as she forced a smile.
"It's fine, thanks for eventually telling me."Her voice had a sarcastic wit about it as she pulled her phone out. "Hopefully someone else is free tonight then."
"I'm sure one of the boy's other halves are, would be a great way to make some more friends." The footballer suggested, which she didn't like the idea of one bit.
"Yeah, I'm sure." She over exaggerated as her mind flickered to the only other person that she knew in London.

somewhat feeling super motivated so for the next five or so weeks, i'll be updating this book once a week! i will be doing this until act one is finished so my focus can go towards the rest of my unfinished and draft books.
