The exact conversation that replays in my mind, the same exact same conversation i had when i first met my late boyfriend, Erwin Smith.

I miss him dearly.

He saved me from the life I lived underground, I will forever thank him for that

ever since then he stayed by my side all the time, he never left it, he did anything he could to protect me knowing i knew how to fight for myself. I never once complained about it, I adored him.

I remember after we met it took us a while to warm up to each other, I remember being so bitter over him dragging me out from the life i lived underground. I realized he had warmed up faster to me than I did to him.

That same very day Erwin decided he would be in charge of me and my actions, he put me in the survey corps to keep me close. He always kept a close eye on me, though it was his job to, he seemed like he didn't mind being with me 24/7

And i grew to not mind him being with me 24/7 either, I became more and more relaxed with him as the days passed, his presence became like a comfort to me

I started to begin to memorize the sounds Erwins shoes made when he walked, and when he was barefoot, so every time he would walk into a room when i cant see who it is or if im reading a book and not paying attention, I know its him, and it brings me at ease.

"Levi?" Hange walked into the room slowly, they knew if they walked to quick or came in too quick Levi would get startled.

They spotted the tiny boy scrummaging through his drawers, he seemed a little desperate

"Levi.. what are you trying to look for?"

He quickly got up, shutting the drawer and hid what seemed to be some kind of necklace behind his back, and slipped it into his pocket

"Nothing.. its nothing" he replied sitting back down on his chair "What is it?"

"Nevermind its nothing, lev"

"lev" I thought as i watched Hange leave the room, i brung out the pendant i had gotten from the drawer

"Lev" the thought scattered through my mind as i held Erwins pendant, all i could think about was the time he first gave me that nickname

It was about five or six months when we first met, we had already gotten comfortable with each other a month before

At first he had accidentally called me Lev, it wasn't intentional, it just came out of his mouth

"Lev?? Are you in love with me or something?!" Levi playfully replied, giggling

little did i know, he was in love with me.

"Shut up! It was unintentional I swear" Erwin chuckled

That small conversation still brings me so much comfort, I wasn't very good with nicknames until I met Erwin.

His nicknames for me when we started dating made me warm up to them more, I remember whenever he called me Lev for the first time I felt butterflies in my stomach, I didn't understand the feeling but now I understand.

i loved him and i still do.

Being with him always made me feel things Ive never felt, being with him always felt so surreal.

Levi held the amulet that once belonged to Erwin closer, giving it a kiss.

"Im sorry" my eyes filled with tears, I miss my boy. I miss him so so much.

I opened up my drawer to place down the amulet with all of Erwins other belongings, and letters.

He used to write me so many letters.

I pulled out an envelope that Erwin had sent me from the Royal Capital.

Dear Levi,

Hey love! I'll be at HQ soon. Ive been really busy with going back to Shinganshina operation. Im sorry you had to stay back there to take care of Eren. I miss you, We'll talk about strategies and plans once I come back. I love you so much, See you soon.
