"I really don't know, what are you talking about?" Noah tried to defend himself almost crying. The female teacher didn't stop and questioned him, "That girl, Laura, pushed you into the zombies. How are you alive? And why are you here now? Two months later?"
Noah had a helpless look on his face, his eyes already glistening with tears, "I don't know. I just woke up a few hours ago, in a classroom on the first floor. And I had a stab wound rather than a zombie bite."
The female teacher didn't believe it one bit, "Really? Why don't you show it to us then? After all, Laura showed us a bloodied wound and said a zombie bit you."
Noah was fidgeted, so it looked like he was nervous, "Okay." Noah was folding his pantleg up and his bandaged leg was showing. Slowly he got off the bandage and made a hurt expression as if to make them feel a little guilty about it. Of course, it didn't work, since it was the apocalypse but Noah thought it was worth a shot and maybe he was also a little too much in his role. Seeing that Noah's leg was a stab wound since a bite would definitely not look so straight, the teacher knew that Laura had lied. The red-haired dude, who Noah thinks that he's Ben, sat down again and relaxed.
"So why are you only here now? And how are you alive within these two months, without us ever seeing you?" The redhead, Ben, asked.Noah looked embarrassed while bandaging his leg up again, "I really don't know. I just woke up there, nothing else really comes to mind."
The female teacher looked panicked and pointing with her finger at Noah, she screamed, "Don't lie to us. How could you still be alive? Why are you not a zombie? That girl quite literally pushed you into them."
The white-haired person rolled their eyes, "ZEANA! If you could shut up? It would be quite delightful"
The female teacher looked at that white-haired person with a death stare, "I'm sure, that I've said this before, but if you don't remember let me remind you again. Just because they're zombies out there doesn't mean, that I am not an authority person. I am still your teacher.""Yes, of course. A teacher who keeps whining all the time, while giving us lectures about why we should give most of the food to you," a girl with blond hair and a dirty, ripped, frilly pink dress said.
"This is not the time to search for fault in one another and Zeana just because you are a teacher doesn't mean that you are on top here. Understand?" The redhead said as he looked at the teacher. Zeana, the teacher, looked quite unwilling but nodded her head.
The redhead looked towards Noah, "So now to you, I don't know why you're not a zombie, nor do I know why you're just here after two months have passed. But what I do know is that the three have brought you here, so you're their problem. What I can say is our names. I am Ben, the crazy teacher lady, as you've most probably listened to this, Zeana. That girl in the pink dress is Cindy, the person with the white hair is Ted, the guy over there by the locker is named Roy and the girl that has been staring at you angrily is Loraine. Look for a place to sit down, but close the door."
Noah nodded, he closed the door and sat down on a table near the window. Noah thought to himself, 'The dynamic of this group is very unstable, if I'm seeing this correctly. The teacher, Cindy, and Ted have beef apparently and I think the trio and Ben are closer than it first seemed. At least those four joke with each other, in here it's more of a blizzard.'Noah wanted to get some stuff out of his backpack while keeping most of his findings to himself. He looked at Ben, "Ben? I have searched through some stuff while I was going down." Ben came over to him and wanted to pour out all the things in the backpack, but Noah stopped him with his hand.
Ben gave him an annoyed side eye, "What? Want to keep everything yourself?"
Noah shook his head, "It's just that I got a few chemicals from the science laboratory and if you pour my backpack out, these chemicals could break and the whole table will dissolve."
Ben looked surprised and quickly pulled his hands away, "Well get it out yourself. But be sure not to get any chemicals, on the food you got in there."Noah chuckled and put out three of his five snicker bars, two of his three water bottles, two pairs of gloves from his original four, and two medical masks from his five masks. Noah now had two Snickers, one water bottle, his First-Aid kit, three bottles of the chemical substance, one little bottle of disinfectant, his safety goggles, a flashlight, two pairs of rubber gloves, three masks, the lunchbox filled with the crystals and a pocket knife, left in his backpack.
Ben looked suspiciously at Noah's backpack, "Are you sure you don't have more? It looks so full."
Noah looked at it, "Well those four bottles of mixed chemicals, do take up a lot of space. And I thought that maybe the First-Aid Kit would stay with me for a while since I am kind of hurt?" Ben nodded and didn't ask any more questions.
The girl who glared at Noah obviously didn't think so and hysterically asked, "That's the funniest thing I've heard for two months. The little, dumb, lamb Noah knows something about chemicals. The only thing he knows is how to hide in the toilette." Loraine and Zeana laughed a little.
Noah looked innocently at the two, "Do you want to test it out then?" He pulled out the fourth bottle from his trousers, swinging it a little while looking at them.
Ben chimed in, "Yeah, could we test it out? It could prove very useful, the second floor still has a few uncleaned classrooms. If that works, we get a new classroom to scavenge. If it doesn't I guess only Noah dies since he doesn't really have any ability."
Loraine shook her head in contempt.
Ben nodded and then grabbed Noah's arm, "He is coming with me. Since you trust me, you can wait for me to bring him back. I will tell you if he is a liar or not, but if you want to come with then get your butt over here."
