Avrey was 8 when she realized there was something quite different about her. She didn't find boys attractive like all the other girls in her 2nd grade classroom, instead she found herself looking at the girls more. She did like to be friends with the boys, though. She would play basketball with them at recess often. And was particularly close to a boy named Jay, who also realized their was something different about him. By the time they were both in 6th grade they had officially found themselves. And this is where the story begins..
