Apple released a new version of Safari in June. With the new version of the browser, the company published the first developer betas for and macOS Monterey shortly after. However, while some people liked the new design layout, others didn't, making Safari's new look somewhat divisive.

iOS15's Safari
It appears that the Cupertino-based tech giant has heard some of the complaints and has published a Safari upgrade for both operating systems' newest beta versions. The search bar will remain at the bottom of the screen if selected, but it will not move to the top.
Furthermore, you can now reload a page from the pop-up menu that appears when you long-press on the search bar. The bar has also been slimmed down, and you can now see information about Safari Reader and extensions.
Monterey is a macOS version of Safari
As a result of the prior criticisms, Apple has taken a step back (kind of) and restored the former look for tabs and the URL bar. The tabs are now split from one another and positioned below the URL bar, exactly where you'd expect them to be while using a browser, with the third beta.
This isn't to imply that the firm has fully abandoned its original idea. As 9to5Mac points out, you have the option of sticking with the version from the first two betas or switching to the old school/new layout. Simply open Safari, select the View tab in the top left corner, and disable the 'Show Separate Tab Bar' option.
Apple has done the unusual and right thing here by allowing macOS users to choose between the two options rather than forcing them to choose one. For the time being, it appears that the browser's iOS version is just growing better. What are your ideas, or do you believe the adjustments will be too small to make a difference?
