I am a jumble of contradictions.
An old soul in a new body.
Longing for the past yet looking to the future.
Loving both the light and the dark.
Hopeful yet hopeless.
Wanting to not feel but fearing the numbness.
Yearning go beyond the limits yet afraid to go too far.
I want to dance among the stars but never leave the earth.
Caring too much and not enough.
Sunlight yet moonbeams.
Clear skys and thunderstorms.
Cold but warm.
What am I?
I am a thousand contradictions trapped in a body that is both a blessing and a curse.
