1. You're a demon and your love interest is human. The heavens forbid such a relationship. What will you do?
2. You're a shape shifter and can turn in a human, you fall in love with a scholar and have to convince the gods to get their blessings, will you succeed or will you be forever alone?
The challenge is to write a short story with a maximum of 1,500 words that is based on or inspired by one of the prompts above.
Keep in mind that your story must be Asian Fantasy and must be categorized as Fantasy. You are welcome to incorporate romantic or horror subplots. If you have any questions about what Asian Fantasy is, check out our Profile Guide.
