Sad one shots if you want to cry

You found me

I'm waiting. I'm waiting for the nurse to tell me that he's alright I remember what happened again.

"Come on flowerkins you gotta run faster." He says laughing while taking me by the hand to a field full of beautiful yellow flowers. Its our happy place. "But your going to fast" I shout "you have to stay with me"  he stops running
"I'll never leave you flowerkins" he kneels down to the ground. "You know I prepared a hole speech about our future together for this but you never know what's gonna happen so I'll just keep it short" he says. I start giggling
"I love you Daisy, I'll always be with you. Will you ma-" BANG!! The bullet goes right through his head and he falls to the ground I know he can't be saved but still I want the doctors to try so I call an ambulance.

And now I'm here waiting. Hoping. Hoping for something we all know is impossible. The nurse walks in and my mom squeezes my hand to let me know it's okay to cry. I see something in the nurses eyes. Tears. And I already know what she's going to say. She knows I know so she just says "I am so sorry"

I feel nothing. I want nothing. I don't want my mother's hugs. I don't want to hear I'm sorry they didn't know him like I did. "He promised me that he'll never leave me" I say and I walk out.

When I'm sitting in the hallway it kicks in. The feeling. The feeling that I had lost him forever. The feeling that he had left me alone. I feel my moms arms around me. I want to push them away but I don't. I just sit there and cry. I am alone... but im not. Then I remember

"You found me." I say giggling. "Always"
"Are you gonna find me again?" "I will"
