Jan sits on a bench reading a history book in their university's courtyard while writing on sticky notes. And that only meant one thing, she was prepping for a test.
" Jan! " someone shouted, the voice was familiar. It was very high, quite squirmy even.
Jan looked away from her book, looking where she heard the voice. And guess what it was Kandice. Kandice walks up to Jan and says " Usog nga! You're taking up all the space na oh! "
Jan laughs and scooches over, giving Kandice some space.
" So, nag pre-prep kana ba for the test on poli-sci? " Jan said. She looked at Kandice making eye contact, lowering her book onto her lap.
" Tanga, I didn't take the same classes as you kase para at least I was top in those classes. If same tayo ng classes then palaging naman akong nasa top 2. " Kandice said, slapping Jan's head jokingly.
" Ayy, oo nga pala nakalimutan ko. Sorry ha. Ang dami kasing nasa isip ko right now. " Jan said, looking at the book again, sighing.
Kandice looks away from Jan. " Yea I know, it's okay. " she grins slightly. " You can't even remember things about me that I bring up almost every day. Yet you have the entire science book memorized," she whispered.
" Ano yun Kandy? " Jan looks at Kandice.
" Ah, wala wala. " She smiles innocently.
" Pag sure oy! " Jan said, jokingly.
" Alis na ako ha, so you can go back to studying. Bye, Jan." She walks away.
Before Jan could get her final words, Kandice was already gone. Feeling relieved that there were no more distractions. Jan resumes her studies.
Meanwhile in Kandice's POV
Kandice is in of the bathroom stalls. Hiding from the professors. She hears a voice, startled she is.
" Beh, may party sa condo ni Anne oh! Bagong bili daw. Sana all talagaaa " A girl said.
" San daw ba? BGC yan noh. " another replied.
" Eh malamang lam mo naman mga rich kids. " the first girl said.
" Sige, punta tayo. Di naman ako busy eh. " the second girl stated.
Before Kandice could take a peek at who was talking the girls already left. Quickly taking in the information she just heard, she opens her messenger and texts James.

Kandices leaves the stall, and just in time, the bell rings, time for class. She goes out of the bathroom walking towards her next classroom when she hears a voice.
" Hoy! Kandyyyy! " a manly voice is heard.
Kandice looks back, and she sees Seth—the tall, typical pogi crush ng bayan guy.
Seth really is annoying, he's my ex. I mean what? He's hot, kinda smart, and a varsity player for badminton. He had a crush on me since we were kids, and I was not about to pass up the opportunity to date the campus crush. Duhh!! But ever since we broke, I had this newfound self-confidence you know? I was known as the innocent, pure, and demure girl. But now I'm this sexy, confident, and bold woman.
" Bakit? I'm about to go to class na. " Kandice said, looking at Seth with a confused face.
Seth walked closer to Kandice, only leaving a few inches between them. " Punta ka later ah, party ni Anne. " Seth backed up.
" Yeah, pupunta kame ni James. " Kandice smiles, leaving to go to her class.
Seth rolls his eyes and goes away.
After classes
Kandy is outside the school patiently waiting for James yet, Seth taps her shoulder.
" What the hell, don't call me that again Seth. Ano bayan di ka pa nakaka move on? " Kandy said frustrated.
" Eh pano kung hindi pa nga? Ano may magagawa ka ba???? Malamang wala. "
" Mag move on kana kasi. Tapos ang usapan. " Kandy said, smiling
James is seen entering the driveway, getting out of his car. James waves to Kandy.
" Jamieeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! " Kandy said happily, walking towards him.
" Hey Kands, your house first ba? Or diretso na tayo sa party? " James said, smiling leaning towards his car.
" My house muna, mag aayos muna ako. Then let's go na "
" Sige sige, whatever you say. I mean I can't say no naman diba? " He asked jokingly, smirking.
" Yep, wala kang choice Jamie. " Kandy smiles, getting in the car.
Kandy looks at Seth, smiling. While Seth is rolling his eyes, waving goodbye, and going inside the school.
" Ginulo ka nanaman ni Seth? Di pa ba siya nakakapag move on? " James said, getting in the drivers seat.
" I guess, lagi naman ganyan yun. Yaan mo na "
" Grabe na kayo ah, nakakapag selos na. " James chuckles, looking over at Kandice.
Kandice is flustered, secretly smiling.
" Just drive, James. "
" As you say, madame. " James starts the engine and drives away.
Jan's POV
Huh? Saan pupunta yung mga yun? Lagi nalang umaalis di man lang ako sinasabihan.
Janice opens her phone and texts, Kandy.

Ayy, I mean tama naman siya. I get her point pero lagi nalang sila umaalis without telling me. Pero dapat di nako ma gulat, dapat sanay nako sa ganyan nila. Ang weird lng seeing my best friend hanging out with my brother. Pero hayaan ko nalang sila.
Ill just go home, kailangan ko naman mag aral eh.
Jan calls her mother.
" Ma? Pasundo na "
" Sige nak, pupunta na si kuya jimmy jan. wait mo nalang. "
" Sige ma, thank you. "
Jan ends the call, she finds a bench and sits on it while waiting for the driver.
A few minutes pass, Kuya Jimmy is at the entrance. Jan spots him and goes in the car.
" Hi ma'am, may pupuntahan ka pa po ba? " Kuya jimmy asked.
