World Is A Prison

The world is a prison
No one can escape
It's like a mission
Where the only thing you take is hate
You're fat, you're ugly
You're skinny, you're fake
Why can't it be you're beautiful, you're cuddley
And you're not a mistake?

Because I'm stuck on Earth
And it's making me hurt
The things that people say
Is leading me astray
We hear someone yelp
While everyone points and laughs
They're in need of help
It's like an epigraph

Sometimes I wonder
What it's like to be free,
Away from all of the thing we were meant to be.
Being anything I want
Boy? Girl? In between?
I'm just being me.

Don't have to worry about a thing
Cause no one is mean.
But instead it's like Halloween
I gotta put on a disguise
And hide between the lies
It's killing me inside
But I no longer want to hide.

So I open the door
And look in everyones eyes
And quickly realise, it's unwise.

Because the Earth is a prison
No one can escape
We' re all hurting and squirming at the reoccurring hate.
People don't care what they say
That is until it's too late
But it's all fake.
And I don't care
Because I'm already at the gates.
