"Angel." A sweet calm voice whispered in the darkness.

Your eyes fluttered softly. The light feeling of your eyelashes batting against your eyelids, tickled a bit.

"My little galaxy wake up." A deeper and smooth voice said, brushing against your ear.

With an effort, you managed to force your eyes open, straining to see through your blurry vision. Two faces appeared, one shining brightly, the other dark but with twinkling lights. You look at them, a warm feeling hugging against your soul, as they give you a smile. You focus your attention on the bright face, noting her feminine features. Her long eyelashes and cherry lips, perfectly shaped face and straight nose, you couldn't help but drool. But the thing you mostly noticed about her, was her shimmering white hair and bright eyes. She had a pale (not in a sick way) skin tone, almost white as the moon. Her long hair seemed to wave all around her, as if they were floating. While her eyes held a comforting and gentle look. You couldn't help but smile at her.

"Galatians! She smiled!" She instantly lit up, her eyes sparkling with happiness and love. The person next to her chuckled and gave her a loving look.

You turn your eyes to the other face now, curious of what the person would look like. Noticing his almost starry like skin, you saw his caring eyes, the bright irises sparkling like stars in the night. His straight jawline and fuzzy short hair, a prominent nose and thin lips, you couldn't help but think that you were blessed with seeing two beautiful beings.

"Ah! My little galaxy, do you like what you see?" The voice chuckled, noticing your stare.

You sent a small soft whine, protesting. The beings looked at you laughing, while you tried to hold up a blush threatening to escape onto your face. You pouted, puffing out your cheeks and your eyes glassy. They immediately stopped and began patting you softly, giving out small apologies in attempt to soothe you.

That's when you noticed something. You tried to lift up your hands, shuffling a bit. You gave small whines and whimpers as you struggled to free your hand from....  well, wherever they are.

"Oh my poor darling," You jolted a bit, forgetting that your parents (or at least you were pretty sure they were) were still there. "Are you trying to see your hands?"

You stopped moving and gave a soft nod. Suddenly your parents froze. After a few seconds your mother (you know which one) seemed to snap out of it. She quickly picked you up (you just realised you were lying down in a... crib?) And began unwrapping you from the silky cloths you were in. Ah. That's why. Your mother placed the cloths back into the crib (which you noticed was just made out of wood) and stood up. She tapped lightly on your father's shoulder, which he immediately responded to with a small flinch, while she was tapping softly on your nose.

"My dear, can you please set us in our house?" Your mother called sweetly to your father, as he slowly lifted himself from his seat. "Of course." He responded, smiling at the two of you.

Suddenly, the blank place you were in (it was just a white canvas) swirled around, your eyes googling at the magic happening.

"Did you want a room for Angel?" Your father asked, as colours began forming from the swirls. "Hmm... I think she should." Your mother replied, looking at the forming colours with a smile.

Your father simply nodded his head, as your mother suddenly began floating up, patting you softly. You looked at your father, then your mother, a warm feeling bursting in your soul. You suddenly felt this feeling, not from you but from your parents. Your eyes trailed to their chest, as you felt a invisible covering placing itself upon your eyes. A bright golden glow formed on their chests, making you feel the colour.

Happiness.

You smile to yourself, watching the blank canvas turn into a living room. The golden glow in your parents humming softly to your ears as you heard a soft tune. It felt peaceful. Serene. The happy humming filling up your ears as your eyes fluttered softly. A wave of tiredness washed over you as you fell asleep, listening to the happy tune.

.......

"....N......GEL!.......ANG........ANGEL!" You jolted awake, as a voice broke through your quiet darkness. You glance up sleepily, as you rub your eyes tiredly. You felt a grip on you tighten, and you look up.

You froze. Your mother had cuts and bruises on her face. Gold liquid dripping down from the cuts, a drop splashing onto your cheek. Her face filled with fear, worry, sadness, and.... anger. You flinched when you realised that she was running. Her long dress ripped and tattered, as you look at your surroundings. It was dark and there were tall lights above you, some flickering and some not. You weren't at home. That was all you knew so far.

"My little moonshine," Your mother whispered hoarsely, her sweet voice covered by a dry throat. "Don't worry, you'll be fine." Her hold on me tightens as she runs faster, suddenly turning right.

My mother staggered a bit, which caused me to look at her worriedly. She gives me a small smile, before continuing to run. I look around and suddenly panic. Where's my father? I yelp when my mother stops and turn into a dark street.

"Shhhhh... my sweetheart, you must be quiet." She whispers to me softly, patting me as she started to run again.

"MOooOOoooOOOOooOoNNnnnNN....." A eerie voice cackles. My mother ignores it, turning left. "AWWWwwwwwwWWw dOooNnnN'TTtt beeEEE LiiKkeE tHhaaAAaT...." The voice laughs again, a shiver crawling up my spine. I gasp when my mother suddenly stops in front of a large building. She walks to the front door and slowly places me on the ground. I give a soft mewl as she withdraws her arms. The hesitant look on her blood-stained face as I continue to try grasp at her with my hands. She gives me a warm smile before grabbing something from her hair.

A black ribbon.

She then places it around my head, covering my eyes. I let out a whine and try to take the blindfold off. I hear a rustle and some small splashes. A warm wet substance falling onto my face.

"My little moon," Mother began quietly. "Whatever you do, we will always be there with you." A warm hand caressed my cheek slowly. I leaned onto the warmth, grabbing her hand. "We love you... our little moonshine." The hand was gone. The darkness covering my eyes was the only thing left that was warm. I let out a small sound. Nothing was heard.

"Mmmu!" I mewled. Nothing. I felt a pang of sadness stab my heart. Tears began forming at my eyes, wetting the blindfold.

"MmmmUuu!" I cried out, reaching my hands out. A sudden click sounded at my ears as I heard a creak.

"OH! A baby!" I felt warm hands wrap around me and pick me up. "Oh you poor thing..."

The familiar feeling pricked at my eye as I saw a soft glow through the darkness. It was a mixture of pink and gold. A soft song began playing in my ears. Love and Happiness. I sniffle then give a small smile. The person tensed up, before using a free hand to undo the blindfold. A blurry face came into view as I heard a small gasp. My vision focused now, I look at the person.

What a beautiful being. Her raven hair and sky blue eyes stared down at me. She then smiled and rubbed my eyes tenderly, drying the tears.

"You must be an Angel." She said, her voice filled with love and care. You felt a warm feeling fill your soul. She slowly turned around and walked back into her house, closing the door behind her.

"My beautiful Angel."
