06 ━ itzy when you break up with them

yeji
• she noticed something was wrong with you as soon as she saw you, so she took your hand in hers and asked what was bothering you
• when you told her that you think you and her should break up, yeji's breath caught in her throat
• stares at you silently, completely unsure of what to say
• she bites on her lip as she feels her heart break, and when you notice the tear that slipped past her cheek, you cupped her cheek and wiped it away, she then leans into your touch
• savors the moment of your skin on hers bc she knows she'll miss it so much
• "i don't want us to end, y/n. please, let us work something out. you're the only one i love, the only one i see myself loving until the end."
• yeji would lay her head on your chest, wrapping her arms around you tightly
• a very tearful break up on both parts, full on crying in each others arms

• when you first brought up the topic, lia was extra weary and hoped you wouldn't say what she was thinking
• although that didn't work out as you said the words i think we should break up
• despite being saddened by this, lia would be surprisingly understanding
• you two had been drifting for a while, so she knows why you're doing this
• although she tried to keep her tears at bay, staring down at her lap
• holds your hand extra tight, she doesn't want to lose you but she also knows both you and her aren't feeling the same as when the relationship began
• hopes one day you'll meet again in the future, and are able to fall in love again after spending time apart
• "i'll always love you, y/n. maybe once we've grown as individuals, we'll get back together. in the mean time, please don't forget me. i hope you know you'll forever have my heart."

• did not expect it AT ALL
• ryujin had been very distracted for the past month, and she promised she'd make the effort to work around her schedule, but even as she promised that you felt as if you were being a burden to her
• "you were never a burden to me, jagiya. but if you feel this is right, i won't stop you. please, never forget our love. you've helped me so much, and i've never loved anyone as much as you, y/n."
• because you're the only one besides her members to see ryujin's soft side, she felt as if she was loosing apart of herself
• tries not to cry, although when she looks at you and realizes this is the end, her tears are suddenly nonstop
• hugs you as tight as possible, whispering in your ear
• when she notices that her crying causes you to cry, she tries to joke to lighten the mood
• as you laugh at her corny jokes, ryujin just stares at you as she takes in the fact that this'll probably be the last time she'll get to hear your laugh

chaeryeong
• she had a sort of feeling this would be happening, because she remembered a few months ago you and her had a conversation about if you two would ever end
• although she knew relationships don't always last forever, she thought her one with you wouldn't have that fate
• so when you tell her i don't think this is working out anymore, chaeryeong feels her heart clench in her chest
• takes hold of your cheeks, just holds your face in her hands and memorizes every detail
• "god, you're so perfect, y/n. if i knew this would be the end, i would've appreciated your beauty more. i love you, always."
• her voice begins to break as she says this, tears pooling in her eyes
• quietly asks for one last kiss, and hugs you for longer when you say goodbye
• once you're gone, she stares down at her necklace that has half a heart, and thinks to herself that no one else would make her feel complete the way you do

• she hadn't noticed the change in your attitude or affection towards her, until you sat down and said the words can we talk?
• her usual bubbly self would immediately change as she repeats what you said to her over and over in her head
• once she's registered what's happening, yuna looks at you and you can instantly see the look of sadness in her eyes
• "we can't end, y/n. please... you've been there for me through everything — when i began training, when we debuted, every comeback so far... i can't lose you, baby."
• you felt extremely guilty, even when explaining your reasoning
• she'd cling on to you more than usual, and run her hands across your skin because she knows you love that and she doesn't want you to forget the feeling
• pulls your hands together and intertwines them, seeing them fit together like a puzzle and it suddenly hits her that she'd never be able to do this again
• would go back to the dorm feeling so miserable, her only thoughts being you and how she wished she would've loved you harder
