I watch the water
cascade down into the tub
its too loud
as i shut the faucet off
i watch the last drips
i lay in tranquility
it is so quiet
and so peaceful
i decided i want to sleep
i tilt my head under the
water
just until my nose and mouth
are completely covered
i struggled at first
but then i felt tired
this is where
i wanted to be.
