Entry #101. 8/16/2011
I gaze at the wall in front of me.
All my research has led me to this point. Hundreds of years of searching Earth for it, and here it is in front of me.
The barrier is quite shiny, fluorescent almost. I can hear whispers coming from the other side, inviting me to join them. It has a certain quality that compels me to touch it, something not of this world. Something... ethereal.
I can feel myself being drawn to it. My right hand, which is lying on the floor, is being pulled. I wonder how it would feel for me to touch it.
The barrier feels cool, and not quite liquid, as if it almost isn't there. It ripples at the slightest sound.
I-I can't resist. I can hardly keep writing. I have to go through it. I must know what is on the other side.
I hope to return one day. Until then, I must say goodbye.
