Hikari's Legacy

Chapter 1 - Kidnapping

10 years since the vigilante Hikari, also known as Izuku Midoriya died. Heroes started to thrive and save people, though criminal activity was still going on. All for One was defeated by All Might all those years ago and the number one hero retired, letting the next generation to take over. Katsuki Bakugo was now the number one hero, also gaining the nickname 'Light'. He was the one who surpassed All Might and held onto Hikari's will.

When all of 1A went to the cemetery for a reunion and to pay their respects to the man, Izuku Midoriya, Bakugo talked about a quirkless boy, who happened to have the same name as his childhood friend. Discussing that they were to find the boy and help him, the heroes started their search.

"So, how are we supposed to find him?" Hakagure asked as the whole group stared at Bakugo. "All we know is what he looks like and his first name. We can't just go walking around asking for him, since we're all pro-heroes it would seem to be suspicious, don't you think?"

Momo nodded as the whole group continued to walk to the exit of the cemetery. "But we have to make sure that he's fine. Some people still don't treat quirkless people fairly."

Jiro groaned. "Then, what are we supposed to do?"

"We can always split up and search." Suggested Shinso. "Or Bakugo where did you find the brat? Maybe he would be in a place similar to that, or there. It would cut down where we need to search."

Bakugo clicked his tongue. "He was in a fucking alleyway. There was a fucking destroyed school there surrounded with fucking ruins of buildings."

There was silence until Todoroki spoke up. "That's a weird way to meet."

"NO SHIT SHERLOCK!"

"Bakubro, calm down." Kirishima said. "Anyway, some of us would have to check that place out. Others look around similar places, so we could find him. Once he is found message each other."

Iida nodded and did his hand movements. "Good plan Kirishima. We wouldn't want to overwhelm him if he is really there."

"Who's going though?" Kaminari questioned.

"I say we should let Todoroki, Bakugo, Shinso and Kirishima go. *kero*" Asui suggested. "They were the ones who known him the most out of all of us. *kero*"

Most of the class agreed, so it was final. Those four would go back to the abandoned school while the rest looked around the area. Once thy were out of the cemetery, they all spilt up in groups of four and went their ways.

Bakugo lead his group to where he met the boy months ago. He was searching for a villain who had murdered a family and stumbled into the alleyway. He thought that a destroyed building was a spot that the villain would hide, so he entered it.

He looked through all the classrooms but found nothing. He as at the last classroom and opened it, only to see an 8-year-old kid there covered in bruises and burns. He had messy green hair and freckles. His eyes were emerald green. He looked just like his childhood friend when he was younger.

Flashback:

"Oi, kid. What are you doing here with all those shitty burns and bruises?" Questioned the pro-hero as he was eyeing the guy while comparing his appearance to his dead friend.

"Nothing." Answered the kid as he scrunched himself into a ball. "This is just my spot."

"In a fucking abandoned school?"

The kid nodded and made sure not to make eye contact with the hero. He looked at the bottom the hero costume and could immediately tell that it was the number 1 hero, Ground Zero.
