It's just another day of you walking home from work, getting lost on the past that will never come back. You smiled bitterly at the memories you thought you'll remember fondly—memories of Toman, memories of Mikey.

Little by little, those memories seems to disappear. The seats on the classroom—where you and Mikey once sat—were now replaced instead of cleaned. The dorayaki shop—where you and Mikey used to frequently go to—was now closed. Toman, which you never thought would disband. Your friends, whose life was taken away.

You wondered, was it just you who never moved on from the past? It felt like your time had stopped. Everybody have been living their own lives, including you. But are they still chained from the past like you? Can you really be happy when you know Mikey is suffering?

Your action that criticises

It was in fifth-grade when you met a young boy who always sleeps in class, no, that's the only thing he does in class. You betted that his desk probably smelled like drool. Yet somehow, despite sleeping in every classes, the teachers never scolded him. Was it because he's cute? You were a transferee so you wouldn't know. Mushroom—is what you nicknamed him because his blond hair is shaped like one.

However, today, there was a substitute teacher assigned. She glared silently, seething at the sleeping boy who dared to sleep in her class, as if that'd wake him up.

Touching his arm, you shook him slightly to wake him up, "Psst, psst! Hey, wake up! The teacher's looking at you!"

He slapped your hands away and turned his head, still sleeping.

Your palms started to sweat as the teacher made her way up to Sano Manjiro, your seatmate, even though you did nothing wrong. Teachers are scary after all. When she woke up your seatmate, he suddenly yelled,

"My limited edition toothpaste-flavored dorayaki!"

That was the first time you saw somebody woke him. That was also the time when you learned that they didn't wake him up because he's cute—he's strong and they're scared of him.

One thing you also noticed about your peculiar seatmate is that he wakes up when lunch is almost ending and sulk when he didn't get to eat one. Though, that doesn't stop him from eating in class and sleeping afterwards. You don't even know when he wakes up after class.

"Hey, wake up. It's already lunch." You continue to shook the boy. When he woke up, he glared at you, irritated that he's been woken up, "Who are you?"

"I'm (L/N) (Y/N), your seatmate. It's already lunch." You informed him.

His eyes lit up at the sight of the object in your hands, "Is that mine?"

You raised your brow at him, holding the taiyaki closer to you, "What? This is mine, go buy your own."

His stomach growled as he pouted. You went back to your seat to eat your taiyaki, ignoring him. He continued to stare at you, burning holes at your head.
